And the beat goes on ...

  1. The double standard evinced by the Left is one of the reasons that I'm FED UP!

It's apparently fine and dandy that Leftist is as rich as Croesus, but terrible that a conservative is.

My rich liberal neighbor excoriates every rich conservative that he can name, but never criticizes a wealthy liberal.

  2. Great points, and...well said. But I don't think that your liberal buddies are going to like this post... :-
I've been saying many of these same things for years. Excellent post Another example of liberal double standards.
If you are a leftist ( it's not alright to

    1) lie.
    2) break the law.

I can't wait to see the Liberal's response to this.

  5. And here we see the problem we have foisted upon ourselves. We have become either/or deciding not to look for nuanced solutions that will help a majority if Anericans.

Many are so convinced of their correctness that there is no way to see any good in the other side.

There is no credible way libs or cons can claim some sort of consistent thinking in our political and the sooner folks learn and accept that truth, the better we'll be.

    It's not about scoring points.

  6. No, Dave, it's not about scoring points, though too many seem to believe it is.

Unfortunately, too much of the time it's about imposing one's worldview -- and one's will -- on others -- a frankly despicable bullying process that cloaks itself in the garb of righteousness fostering altruistic goals -- always in others without looking inward in search of one's own character flaws and culpability.

In my view self-righteousness is most probably the deadliest sin of all.

  7. The false paradigm is thinking there is any difference between the two political parties instead of a simple variation on a theme.

  9. Why expect a "Progressive" President to close Gitmo, Let the Patriot Act expire, stop sending murder drones around the world, sign the most executive orders in modern times, or do something effective about the highest sustained unemployment rate, highest deficit in decades when he can just kick back, put his feet up on his desk and say screw you all, I’m the President, live with it.?
Obama's mouth is bigger than his bite.

  10. 've been reading a lot of these blog lately, and what I find is that isn’t it funny how the Liberals/Progressives/Democrats/Socialist’s/Marxists just love to play "Tit for Tat" and compare every Obama Blunder (and there were too many to list) to one of George Bush's
It is a fact that George Bush did some good things during his presidency, so the Liberal claim that he (George Bush) is so dumb is nothing more than one of many of the Lefties insulting dreams. The fact is that George Bush's SATs were higher than Kerry's, Clinton's and, more than likely, Obama's. Why else would both (Barrack and the Moocher Obama) have their records be sealed?
While Obama was an affirmative action student at Harvard Law. And that Obama can barely string three words together without a Teleprompter. And that Obama may give those inspirational speeches but there's not substance or truth behind them. In other words, when Clint Eastwood described him as an empty chair, he had a point!
And as for our Grinning Vice President Joe Biden, he is living proof positive that you don't have to be a C student to be Vice President.
So a note to the Bleeding Heats, Liars, Hypocrites, and those liberal whining wind bags....
If Bush is dumb, then what is Obama?
“If there is ever a fascist takeover in America, it will come not in the form of storm troopers kicking down doors but with lawyers and social workers saying. "I'm from the government and I'm here to help.”

  11. Taking about comparisons, I Wonder what the Obummer library will look like?

And will it feature video clips from Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Oprah Winfrey, and Jay-Z.

    I disagree.

I would absolutely welcome a responsible Republican Party. Hell, Richard Nixon would look like a progressive these days.

The problem is that the right has been so infested by the likes of Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Michele Bachmann and the lie that you have to oppose it wholesale.
There is no rapprochement with people who think Sarah Palin or Herman Cain are qualified political leaders.

So knowing the right is so freaking loony that it will never be a challenge, Obama is free to cozy up to the finance industry, fly all the drones e wishes and not get called on it.
What's the alternative, Louie Gohmert? Psst, did you hear that Obama's inner circle is filled with the Muslim Brotherhood?

We are so far down the rabbit hole we can't get back.

The Left is desperate to destroy him. :)

  16. Liberal = more government control, less individual freedom,
Government solving all your problems. Centralized planning, Socialism.

Conservative = personal responsibility, states and towns rights. growth and security

Being Liberal does mean you are generous, if you want to use that word, the problem is that you are generous with other peoples money to people who didn't earn anything themselves.

  21. A simple statement of fact is always welcome here - especially if it's written in French -- the language of diplomacy. ;-)

It is the verbose, moronic "canned" tirades from left AND right I will not tolerate any longer -- UNLESS I, personally, find them interesting.

  22. @ Ducky: "Hell, Richard Nixon would look like a progressive these days."

Richard "We're all Keynesians now" Nixon was a progressive, complete with unhitching the dollar from any fixed point of measurements and price controls.
