  2. I guess that I'm safe for now: no pressure cooker here.

But try to take away my crock pot, and I'll defend my right to have it. Can't live without it, in fact.

  3. Think I better put my pressure cooker in a yard sale. Unless I can sell it to The Qman.

  4. Qman, I would bet that you also hated the previous administration of George W. Bush. Did Obama really change the course the country, or just carry out further what Bush, before him, had already begun? Gitmo. Afghanistan? More drone strikes against non-military targets in other countries?

Isn't that why he is called: The Black Bush?

  5. I read through the post by TQM. I was able to find things in there that I agree with. Here are the highlights:

Obama is a legitimately elected president.

    He was born in Hawaii.

    He is a Christian.

He’s no more evil than any other politician

He is not trying to ‘destroy America’ unless your definition of ‘destroy America’ is to have a Democrat in the White House.

He is not a Marxist or a Socialist or a Communist or a Fascist, he is not a terrorist.

He does not hate white people.

AOW, don't take my crock pot!!

Waylon, agree that the President is an extension of Bush in many ways. I wonder if it drives him crazy at night :-)

  7. I read The Cat’s Fur’s post. I was able to find things in there that I agree with. Here are the highlights:

Pardon me for just thinkiń out loud...

A major city … citizens locked down in their homes .. “

The government closed down an entire city. They occupied a city in America yesterday.

On whole, TQM posted more truth; but the over the top claims of racism cloud his truth.

The Cat’s Fur makes faulty assumptions about diversity.

On whole, TQM and The Cat’s Fur score a tie for least helpful and most offensive.

    Parts of the problem.

  9. I am not a master critic; but I can tell hate speak when I see it.

Perhaps you can clear it all up for us, oh wise one.

  11. KP, may I remind you that "Hate Speak is NOT against the law.

  12. Thanks, RR. I get it. It's just not helpful to hear someone like TQM spew so much hatred. The message gets lost.

And while I agree with some of the core of what The Cat's Fur is getting at, the style is not helpful.

What will be most telling is who can sway opinion of those in the middle. It won't be TQM or The Cat's Fur. I'm just trying to be realisitic.

  13. KP, I'm always glad to see you here.

I agree with your assessment of both those posts, each of which is totally irrelevant to today's subject matter, but I make it a matter of policy NOT to tolerate the presence of malignant personalities here, whenever I discover their odious presence.

I try to delete "boilerplate" screeds whether they come from the left OR the right.

I do not want this blog to become nothing but a DUMPING GROUND for JUNK remarks from JERKS.

Free Speech is CURTAILED here whenever I deem it abusive of the purposes of the blog.

    INTOLERANCE is INTOLERABLE.

AGGRESSIVE STUPIDITY ought NOT to be tolerated. It has virtually taken over the land in the name of Freedom of Speech, and it is ruining us.

  14. Either we HALT this utterly mindless Denigration Derby in which we're so freely indulging, or we will DIE as a free people.

Either you bigots -- on BOTH sides of the aisle -- make the effort to improve your outlook on life, develop an appreciation of edifying works of Art, Literature, Music, Poetry and Philosophy and the many other POSITIVE aspects of Existence, or GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE.

As one of my wise great aunts used to say, "It's better to be alone than in bad company."

    OH how RIGHT she was!

  15. Hello, FT! Thanks.

I love the Tone Poem, Strauss posts below from you and others.

You musical wizards are impressive to read, follow and learn from.

  16. On your great aunt's saying: Jim Elliott is attributed with the saying:

"To be out of place in the wrong place is to have your heart in the right place."

  24. I'm glad you enjoyed the music, KP.

I've listened to it three time, myself, already with increasing enjoyment every time..

It will be here as long as YouTube allows it to be posted.

  26. Why is everyone always afraid of finger-pointing...?
It seems all over in the media that everyone (except Barack Obama/Axelrod who are always blaming the Tea Party) why were we afraid saying what we thought right from the get-go instead of tippy-toeing around saying that we thought it was MUSLIMS who bombed the Boston Marathon....why the hell is that...?

Have we been fighting a War or not....? Do we have enemies or not....? Why can't anyone finger-point to our enemies...? is it because they are MUSLIMS? who cares? they deserve every frikkin finger-pointing we can give them....or are we that idiotic ...?

Why is it media people can't rightly point out as suspects the Islamic radicals...?
...after all...they are the ones who already bombed the Twin Towers and killed 3,000 of our people.....as far as I'm concerned they can be blamed automatically for any bombing over the next 100 years.....

did radical MUSLIMS kill 3,000 innocent Americans or not......?

    finger-pointing......you betcha.....!
