INTERNECINE WARFARE
HAS BEGUN among the RANKS
of the VICTORS

One of the regulars from Repulsive Excretions accused Republicans of "destroying" Obama at Who's Your Daddy? a day or two ago.
THIS RESPONSE SEEMED WORTH FEATURING
If this president has been destroyed, –– a big if considering the powerful array of largely unknown, unseen nefarious internationalist forces who effectively put him in office –– he destroyed himself simply by being who he is –– an avowed crypto-Marxist born and bred, determined to bring about a fundamental change in the nature and character of our nation, its culture, and its prescribed method of governance by boldly assuming the role of a quasi-monarchical dictator.
OBAMA HAS SAID IN EFFECT:
1. "I will mentally thumb my nose at the Constitution."
2. "I will ignore and circumvent congress, and thwart them with my phone and my pen whenever congress fails to accommodate my wishes and accede to my demands. And Harry Reid shall protect my agenda by refusing to permit a vote on any legislation passed by the House that might get approved by the Senate if said legislation appears contrary to my express wishes and demands. The beauty of this simple measure lies in the ease with which we will be able to blame "those willful, woefully ignorant Tea Party Republicans" for stymying the business of government by producing permanent GRIDLOCK just to make ME, America's First Black President, look bad."
3. "I am determined to ignore and show profound disrespect to The Will of the People, because I know far better than they what is good for them, and what they truly need."
4. "I will break any law, ignore every known code of ethics, indulge constantly in shameless self-serving mendacity, while ordering the nation to bow to my will on every issue. Because I am considered an African-American, no one will DARE speak out against me for fear of being called a RACIST."
5. "I will do whatever I like, and NO ONE can STOP ME, because I and my family belong to a PROTECTED SPECIES. I have learned invaluable lessons in the arts of Self-Protection, Self-Promotion and methods of gaining ascendancy from Jewish Intellectuals, as well as Jewish News and Entertainment moguls who have acted both consciously -- and unwittingly -- as my mentors and the guiding genius behind my success."
As we've been told for countless centuries:
"PRIDE (hubris) GOETH BEFORE A FALL."
There's no joy in Casablanca.
Mighty Barry has struck out.
We feel no urge to start dancing in the streets, however, because the awesome task of clearing away the rubble and rebuilding all this bastard president and his cohorts have damaged and destroyed lies before us –– a humbling, frankly terrifying prospect. We will need every patriot’s most earnest prayers, and the approval of Almighty God, who has this day handed us this great victory and awesome responsibility to make good use of the advantages we now have.
Let us pray for WISDOM –– and for the COURAGE to DO what we know to be RIGHT regardless of what it might cost us personally or politically.
We must gird up our loins and earnestly pray that we are up to the Herculean task that lies before us.

The Wave Election of 2010 sent a clear message from the electorate to REPEAL OBAMACARE

The Wave Election of 2014 gave congress a MANDATE to REPEAL OBAMACARE, and UNDO as much of the damage this Marxian Mountebank with Muslim sympathies has done as they possibly can. The election did not occur to charm, please, compromise or try to make peace with the Democrats

We are engaged in a CIVIL WAR, and WE, the Conservative-Liberatarians, MUST WIN IT at ALL COSTS.

He's fighting us, so he must be fought –– mercilessly

  1. I posted this at AOW's, but I think it bears repeating here:

To those screaming for the GOP to repeal Obamacare, I ask a simple question:

    How?

Some races are still up in the air, but lets make a generous assumption that the GOP will have 55 senate seats and 250 house seats.

It takes a 2/3 vote in each body to override the president's veto.

    That's 67 senators and 288 congressmen.

Which 12 Democrat senators do you imagine will vote to override the president's veto (or, which five senators will even vote for cloture on the original repeal bill?)

Which 38 Democrat congressmen (38!!!) will vote against their president?

Answer me that, and then we can talk repeal.

    ****************

I don't consider such discussions 'internecine warfare.'

I expect the GOP politicians to conduct themselves as responsible adults who are well-grounded in reality.

There are three (not so) easy pieces to repealing Obamacare:

Gain control of the House (Accomplished in 2010)

Gain control of the senate (Accomplished in 2014)

    Win the Presidency ???

    Don't blow it, GOOPers

  3. All well and good, my friend.

Now please answer my question. How does the GOP get the 12 Democrat senators and the 38 Democrat congressmen to join their project?

    ReplyDelete
  4. They don't HAVE to. The PEOPLE did not -- and DO not -- want OBAMACARE.

If BOTH houses of Congress vote to repeal it, then "The Cheese Sands Alone."

Obummer being "the cheese" of course.

Frankly, I'm not concerned as much about 2016 as I am about our weak-chinned, limp-wristed RINO leaders failing to take a firm grasp of the reigns of power and really STICKING IT to the DemonRats.

We have stood by helplessly for SIX YEARS watching our freedoms taken away bit by bit while treachery, sophistry, mendacity, illegality, and abject tyranny have, apparently, become so entrenched we, the supposed "victors," feel we must tread ever-so-lightly for fear of offending King Barack, the Black and his mindless mob of racist Negro followers.

I am SURE there are MANY Democrats who are not fond of Dear Leader OR his Statist-Socialist policies and evil internationalist ambitions. If OUR guys grow some balls, and ac like MEN instead of "professors," we MUGHT have a REAL chance of inspiring enough would-be fene-sitters and potential turncoats among the Democrats to get on board with US, form a coalition and VANQUISH the God-Damned-Bastard-in-Chief, and leave him with NO "legacy" other than FAILURE on every front.

  5. How does the GOP get the 12 Democrat senators and the 38 Democrat congressmen to join their project?

Not by not even trying. Besides, it can't hurt to ID the "Obama Supporters" to the voters in 2016.

  6. The lines are already drawn, we all know who is on each side, and "The Cheese" who stands alone also stands in the way with his veto.

Go ahead, cheer on such foolish charges. They gain nothing and reveal nothing new.

I say this with charity, for I know both of you are sincere.

  7. Who gives a DAMN what the hell the progressive piss ants and the communist corn holers over at Progressive Erections say!

    STOP TALKING ABOUT THEM!!!

They are Ass Holes who would ejaculate in their little boy pants if Hussein abolished Congress and declared martial law. They would stand in line to get down on their knees and give the Great Barack blowjobs.

    F**k them! They lost!!!

  8. we all know who is on each side

Do we? The Senate is "on the record" for repeal votes? Who knew?

I thought Harry Reid was the only US Senator "on the record" against repeal.... becuase he never allowed it to come to the floor for a vote.

  9. There USED to be Senate "Bluedogs". Let's see if they've gone "extinct". Cuz if they have, it proves "which" is the party of "extremes".

  10. Besides, playing "tiptoe round the voters" MAY have worked as a re-election strategy in 2014. But in 2016, it doesn't have a prayer. It's going to be In-Your-Face politicking 24/7 a year from now.

    ReplyDelete
  11. OK Thersites, I knew you'd pull the old "who knew?" on me, so here's a simple question for you.

Which of the Democrat senators up for election in 2016 would be scared to stand against repeal?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_elections,_2016

I'm not a pundit, but I would call every one of those dems "safely ensconced."

Harry Reid is the most vulnerable one in the bunch, and you know he ain't switching sides.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Thank you for your intelligent support, Thersites. I never expected to be alone on this, but apparently, I am one of a small minority that includes Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Michael Savage (I'm morally certain), Ed Henry (FOX News WH correspondent) Sean Hannity, Mark Steyn, Ann Coulter, and the MAJORITY who voted AGAINST King Barack and his accursed policies.

The Republicans gave their supporters NOTHING to vote FOR, so the only POSSIBLE interpretation of the meaning of this historic Wave Election is a clear REPUDIATION of Obama, his vile henchpersons and his rotten, stinking, lousy MARXIAN policies.

I am sorry to have to disagree with two good friends and staunch allies, but I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree and let it go at at that.

Ted Cruz is the ONLY Republican who gives me any hope at all that things might yet be righted, but when I see this advocacy for tepid, over-cautious pussy foot tactics my heart sinks.

IF the Founding Fathers had felt as you two do, the United States of America would never have come into existence.

  13. FreeThinke,
What you need, my friend, is some hope.

    Go here:

    https://www.google.com/#q=Now+We+Can+Get+Congress+Going

and select the Wall Street Journal article. (this gets around the pay gate at WSJ)

Read what McConnell and Boehner have to say. I'd say they are aiming at a conservative and well-reasoned agenda that promises to separate the men from the boys.

  14. The Senators may indeed be in safe States. So what? The RNC ran against Obama in 2014, and they will do so AGAIN in 2016. They're going to need "something" to keep the anti-Obama throw-the-bum-out meme going.

The Democrats were very successful in 2008 running "against Bush". They TOOK the Senate with a 60 Vote MAJORITY. And they didn't accomplish THAT by "playing nice" with the President.

Of course, it didn't help the Republicans that the fiscal collapse exposed the Kronies within their own ranks.

The "safe" DNC Senators need to be painted as Bankcorp (The Mystical Profiteer) and General Surgeon. And you can't do THAT without a "REPEAL" vote.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Again, the underlying basis of Obamacare is that the Middle Class will pay higher health care insurance rates and thereby subsidize the rest

    'F THAT!

    ReplyDelete
  16. 20% of the American economy was "Kronyized" in 2009. It's long past "politically expedient" time to revisit THAT theft.

And if the RNC DOESN'T, it's because 3/4 of THEM are still working for Big G.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Also, the underlying basis of Mortgage Crisis fix was that the Middle Class will pay higher FHA insurance and loan rates and thereby subsidize the rest...

See the pattern? The new Consumer Protection Bureau was an institutionalization of loan subsidies for the uncreditworthy, by the "creditworthy" Middle Class.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well, that was some screed!

You can't get rid of Obamacare.

Obama is not your enemy, he's the President.

There is no great war between Marxism and Freedom in this country.

That war is in your heads.

The real war in this country is between moneyed interests who make money against our interests and the rest of us. People who want to make life a little better in America are not your enemies.

People who make money from war, from monopoly, from trade with despots, totalitarians, aristocracies and theocracies, from polluting the air and water, from the police state, from all our lesser angels - those are your enemies, but you're just too ideological, every other thought process be damned, too see it.

  19. "...And Harry Reid shall protect my agenda by refusing to permit a vote on any legislation passed by the House that might get approved by the Senate if said legislation appears contrary to my express wishes and demands."

But Harry Reid has now been thwarted -- or will be when the new Congress is sworn in.

As SF pointed out, ObamaCare cannot be repealed. There isn't a big enough GOP majority to override the Presidential veto.

The GOP could certainly pass such a bill by a simple majority. However, Obama will veto such a bill.

So, before the GOP introduces any such bill, the GOP can get this Congress to pass some simple measures that nibble away at and/or defund portions of ObamaCare. First up? The tax on medical devices, perhaps.

I cannot stress this enough....The GOP should catch some little fish before going after the big fish. If Obama tosses those little fish back into the water, the GOP should make a lot of noise.

  20. FT,
The PEOPLE did not -- and DO not -- want OBAMACARE.

    Um, not exactly.

At the risk of causing the roof to blow off here at your blog, not everything about ObamaCare is wrong.

There are people who have managed to acquire health insurance who were priced out or other shut out before ObamaCare came along.

I personally know two people in that boat.

Now, there are SERIOUS flaws in ObamaCare. The GOP might be able to gain some political capital by dumping some of those flaws.

You know what I actually favor? No more employer-based health insurance (except for active duty military). Open up the free market. And insurance policies should be able to be obtained across state lines.

I will also say this....If something isn't done to alter ObamaCare, the shortage of doctors will be huge. And I do mean HUGE. Doctors do have to make a living as do nurses.

Furthermore, it is the Nanny State on steroids to advocate that consumers shouldn't pay for own health care. Health care is not a right.

    ReplyDelete
  21. SF,

I don't consider such discussions 'internecine warfare.'

    I agree.

It is a natural outcome. Also, the GOP is in the early stages of strategy. There will be differences of opinion as to how to proceed. Let's hope that the GOP doesn't pull defeat from the jaws of victory.

I'm not concerned as much about 2016 as I am about our weak-chinned, limp-wristed RINO leaders failing to take a firm grasp of the reigns of power and really STICKING IT to the DemonRats.

We have two years. A Dem elected to the POTUS in 2016 will have four years, and a Democratic Party sweep in 2016 will overturn every overturn accomplished between 2014-2016.

Not that I think there really will overturns in the next two years. But there will be a voting record established. That's not enough, though. "The Party of No" has to accomplish something so as to change the perception.

  23. Speaking of thumbing your nose at the Constitution:

    Article 1, Section 7

"... If after such reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the bill, it shall be sent, together with the objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a law..."

As SF has repeatedly pointed out, you lack the requisite 2/3 majority.

  24. Silver... exactly my points many times... It's one thing to jump up and down demanding solutions... It's another to have no idea how, admit you can't do it, and still demand an action that cannot work.

Free... you've spoken about the will of the people frequently across multiple blogs and comment threads in response to my original comment.

Let me ask you a couple of questions... Are you saying elected officials should always follow the will of the American people?

Didn't the American people also express their will and support for Ibama and his policies when they gave him successive 51%+ wins in 2008 and 2012?

    ReplyDelete
  25. The American people are very charitable in giving newcomers the benefit of their doubts. By 2014, all "doubts" about Obama and his policies have been removed.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thersites... So you agree that the GOP congress thwarted the will of the American people expressed in their vote for Obama and his agenda in 2008 and 2012?

This is the problem with conservatives saying Obama opposed the will of the American people. You are not standing on principle, because you did not support him and his agenda when a clear substantive majority of the voters sided with him.

People like you and Free, who has chosen to deride me across various blogs, but not respond to this question, only claim majority rules when it suits your interests, or politics.

  27. Dave brings up a good point. The legislative process is intentionally difficult to prevent passage by slim majorities (left or right) in the face of opposition. A point missed on both the left and the right is that it is also the job of the legislature NOT to pass legislation.

Leftists smugly sneer about "The Party of No", a label I for one think Republicans should embrace. Of course we're the party of no, keep passing factional legislation with marginal support and we'll keep saying no. A position the recent election just seems to have vindicated.

  29. Yessirree, BOB!

Our CONSTITUTION might better have been called The CONSTIPATION, because it is -- just as you both say -- deliberately designed to slow down the legislative process lest unwise, wildly impetuous, headstrong, potentially tyrannical notions become law.

Of course, Marxian - Fabian, Socialist - Communist -Progressive - Liberal - Statist - Dictocrats DESPISE the Constitution, see it as an outmoded stumbling block to the passage of their all-wise, all-knowing, oh-so enlightened agenda. Unfortunately, for us the sophistry, guile, cant and rhetoric of those forces captured the imagination of The Common Man, grabbed control of "The Narrative," and have gotten away with flouting the strictures of the Constitution for more than a hundred years.

These are the tragic results when large numbers of people are persuaded by "Evil Geniuses" to abandon Principle in favor of Expediency. The public worship of Selfishness, Profligacy and Disrespect soon follows, and that is why we have what we have today.
