Meet Doctor George Lombardi, who, as a young physician just beginning his career, was flown halfway around the world to treat Mother Teresa
Please exercise patience. The doctor's style is dry, understated, and undemonstrative. What he has to say, however, should prove highly amusing as well as amazing. It certainly bolstered my faith, and added to my store of wonder, even as it gave a remarkable, intimate glimpse into the power of the Catholic Church and the selfless, devoted support, and intense loyalty given by some of her finest servants.

    There has been controversy in recent years concerning Mother Teresa, much of it stirred up by Christopher Hitchens, who literally played Devil's Advocate at the hearings concerning her canonization.

    Those who would accuse her of being pompous, overbearing, publicity-seeking, whatever, misunderstand what a saint is. She had a singular mission: Serving poor people, and if making herself a secular star and leveraging that brought in more money to that cause, then so be it.

    If we all did what we can, with what we have, where we are, the world would be a better place

    I'm sorry no one has seen fit to watch the video. I guess they're afraid they might learn something that might disturb the complacency of their worldview.

    LACK of CURIOSITY also called MENTAL LAZINESS does more to retard human progress than all the armies who ever wrought havoc ever have.

    The willfully ignorant generally miss all the good thing life has to offer.
