Morris Seligman Dees v. a large, spontaneous grass roots movement

What do you really know about
Morris Seligman Dees
and the
Southern Poverty Law Center?

What do you really know about the Tea Party?

Is there any proper basis for comparison, or is this just one of those nonsensical pieces of internet propaganda disguised
as a logical, "factual" presentation?

  1. I don't know all that much about either one.

I do know that several counter-jihadists who had previously supported the SLPC backed away after this information appeared.

Does the SLPC also support Obama? Some people who used to like the SLPC seemed to back away from the organization just before or shortly after the November 2012 election.

  2. Every word of the article you linked, AOW, is a simple, straightforward presentation of fact, but it is presented by SPLC as though it were wildly inappropriate.

Whenever the truth is presented as though it were nothing more than "hate speech," you know you are dealing with radical leftists who, themselves, have always sought to undermine and destroy the USA, as we have known and loved it.

Since SPLC -- like all other liberal pressure groups -- is obviously much in favor of encouraging the presence of Islam on our shores, I can't think why Muslims would "shy away from" SPLC.

SPLC is, itself, a Hate Group, of course. They hate Southern Whites, Christianity and Capitalism. Morris Seligman Dees, of course, is Jewish -- another in a long long line of born troublemakers, who feel entitled by God, Himself, to take charge and boss everyone around to the greatest extent possible, because THEY know better than anyone ELSE what ALL of us really OUGHT and NEED to DO.

Every white liberal I know is madly in love with SPLC.

  3. I think the SPLC is of valuing keeping an eye on those who want the South to rise again in all its plantation culture glory.
You've had one of those folks posting here from time to time, FT.

Does Dees have a bit of the scam artist in him? Most likely but The organization has some value.

The Tea Baggers were a grassroots organization focused on government excess in its origins. They also had some value at the time.
Now? It's just an arm for the likes of Rove, the Kochs, Dick Cheney and assorted mouth breathers like Michele Bachmann.
Thoroughly corrupted and about as sane a (m)Ann Coulter.

They have moved the "center" about as far right as its going to go so now we'll see if the right is going to stand still for the destruction of middles class America or will we move center.
When the only "progressive" organization is the Democratic Leadership Council and its collection of financial pimps we should realize we are owned.

  4. Duck,
those who want the South to rise again in all its plantation culture glory

There may be Southerners like that, but I don't personally know any.

You mentioned (m)Ann Coulter. Are you saying that because she might be a lesbian that such sexual orientation automatically makes her someone to scorn?

  5. It seems to me that almost every grassroots movement in the United States has been co-opted by others -- for several decades now. I suppose that the smell of victory is alluring.

  6. I don't know about their lawyers, but they have black people on their board of directors and senior program staff.

I have no idea what her sexuality is but someone who is so utterly disgusting and abysmally stupid deserves ridicule at every possible opportunity.

  8. @ Ducky: someone who is so utterly disgusting and abysmally stupid deserves ridicule at every possible opportunity.

Great. So then you understand reasonable people's reaction to you.

Ducky, please. I know you're smarter than that. also, consider losing the phrase "teabaggers". It reflects badly on you.

  10. You have to understand that it's easy to be a liberal, this is why you find people like the Wall Street Occupies, the Hippies, and the bums who hang around on the streets are all Liberals, it doesn't requite any thinking, only feeling like your superior then others. This is why the President of the US was nothing more than a "Community organizer", what the hell kind of thinking does that require? Liberals don't want any sort of responsibility either, (sound familial?) Being conservative is like being a good Christian, where you really care for people, and want the Federal government to have as little control of your life as possible.

  11. Fir a group who finds Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan to be evil, I would say that Liberals are incapable of judging anyone correctly. Perhaps that's why they love Barack Obama and Moochie so much.

I don't follow their logic, nor do I give it any credence. Liberals are incapable of judging anyone other than conservatives as evil. They have no problem "understanding" why Muslims wish to kill all Americans; it is those evil conservatives who pushed them to it. What they refuse to see, is when that eventuality happens, they will be the first to be lead to the headsman's axe. You cannot fix this level of stupidity. Yes, my fellow Americans, I am speaking about the democrats and all of their supporters. Every last one of them. See no Evil, Hear no Evil and Talk all Evil.

  12. Good morning, Margie and Sergeant D,

I tend to agree with a lot of what you are saying, but I think it may be too simplistic. I know too many liberals who are well educated, make good money, enjoy the good life, while raising families, taking good care of their children, and all the rest of it. Many even go to church regularly.

SO, all liberals are not "bums" leeching off the earnings of good, hard-working Conservatives.

It may be sad, but the fact remains there are a great many liberals in TOP POSITIONS in most areas of endeavor.

Why this should be so is the question that has concerned me most for the past forty-five years.

The best "easy answer" I can come up with is that the man GOOD people who consider themselves liberals or progressives are burdened with a sincere misunderstanding of the meanings of Charity and Good Will.

You should know by now, however, if you've been reading my stuff for any length of time, that I believe he citizens have been literally BRAINWASHED [i.e. conditioned, indoctrinated] by a corrupt Educational System, and Entertainment, News & Information Establishment that has insidiously taken over The American Mind.

It has persuaded a large percentage of our population to adopt downright SUICIDAL policies.

Since THEY use shameless ridicule and insolence as standard tools in combatting Conservative Thinking, I think it's very unwise for us to do the same -- something I see happening more and more.

It makes "US" seem too much like "THEM," and what real good does that do "US" in the long run?

  14. Why, thank you, Anonymous!

I suspect praise from you -- like praise from Caesar -- is praise, indeed.

To put it in motto form:

We strive for Cordiality without Capitulation.

    Cheerio!
