_______ "Me And My Server" _______
– Sung to the tune of Me and My Shadow –
Shades of night are falling and I'm lonely
Scheming on the hustings, feeling blue.
Voters wanting fun
Leave me one by one;
Guess I'll wind up like I always do
With only
Scheming on the hustings, feeling blue.
Voters wanting fun
Leave me one by one;
Guess I'll wind up like I always do
With only
Me and My Server
Opening state secrets to
Enemy agents
Giving bucks to me not you
They see me as a rock
For them I’m there
They needn’t knock,
For their dreams I share.
So, Me and My Server
Open doors so they’ll come through
And when we’re deep in hock
They’ll climb your stairs
And knock
Then liquidate your stock
So, Me and My Server
Will really put the screws to you!

This email issue has gone way beyond critical . Hillary is not only grossly incompetent and a serial liar or she is a criminal ss well.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet the left still supports her.
But Donald Trump's hair is funny.
FT,
ReplyDeleteOutstanding! We need to get somebody to sing this and make a recording.
I'd do it myself, if only I had the technical know-how. Hearing me sing these days, would provoke peals of laughter all by itself I'm sure. ;-) On the other hand Jimmy Durante, who had no real singing voice at all, could put over a song better than many opera singers. Hmmmmmmm!
DeleteAnyway, I'm glad you got a kick out of it.
I wonder how many of our younger readers remember Me and My Shadow?
FT,
DeleteI wonder how many of our younger readers remember Me and My Shadow?
Probably not many. **sign**
Good one!
ReplyDeleteThey're really making a good show of this investigation. Almost makes me think something may come of it. We'll see...
I still predict some low-level underlings with families to feed will end up going to jail over this as Hellary mounts her broomstick and heads to the White house.
Thanks! I share your cynicism, as you know, but still want to believe "while there's life, there's hope."
DeleteI caught Kasich on C-Span early this morning, He's a sincere, warm-hearted guy who seems to have a genuine love for all mankind, but I'm not sure that that is what we need in a president considering the simmering cauldron of hatred and violence ready to spill over at any moment now dominating word politics.
If ever there were a time when we should work hard to increase or faith, that time is now. I don't believe in blind optimism, but ben't believe it could ever do anything but good to affirm God's divinity and omnipresence.
If faith doesn't inform, direct and strengthen our works, faith has no value at all in my immodest estimation.
I still predict some low-level underlings with families to feed will end up going to jail over this as Hellary mounts her broomstick and heads to the White house.
DeleteDo not be so sure. Wait for the indictments. Hillary will have trouble passing this off.

DeleteThis dude is more concerned about the cauldron of hatred that is spilling over in our own country.
John Donne said, "I am involved with ALL mankind ... If a piece of the continent washes away, Europe is the less ... Ask not for whom the bell tolls –– it tolls for thee."
DeleteAll the Crazy-ass Tea Partiers are in hevan over Hillary's troubles,
ReplyDeleteJust read what one of them wrote on a blog.
"HILLARY CLINTON is a Dirty Stinken LIAR! SURPRISE, SURPRSE, SURPRISE!
How about it all you Progressive Dirt-Bags, Still thinking of voting for this Lousy Lying Bitch?
Does Donald Trump’s HAIR still look so funny to you?"
Heh. They're losing what's left of their grasp of sanity over this. And the poor saps don't understand that it'll get as far as the BENGHAZI! BENGHAZI! BENGHAZI! side show did.
Donald and that FUNNY orange thing on his head will be long gone and the Clintons will still be around. Have they learned nothing from Clinton history? Ah, such stupid, ignorant children, such insanity and ignorance form a group of losers

Anything can happen in regard to Hillary, the election is a long way off. And people have short memories . Hillary has a way about her that can change public opinion in a flash. In case you don't remember,
ReplyDeleteI will reach back into history and give you Richard Nixon. Remember him? And remember the nickname he was given? "Tricky Dicky?" I also remember people asking "Would you buy a used car from this man?" I don't know if the polls measured negativity at that time, so I don't know how high his negativity numbers were, but I do remember his amazing come-back after his humiliating loss to JFK.
Well the Cinton's are a lot smarter and much more liked than Nixon.
So let's just wait and see.
"Anything can happen in regard to Hillary"
DeleteYes, she could get struck by lightning, die in an airplane crash, get shot by an assassin, get cancer and die before the election, get pushed off a balcony in a high rise hotel, get hit by a truck, have a stroke and be unable to move or speak, get Alzheimer's and be unable to identify just band Bill or even Monica Lewinsky, get poisoned by a disgruntled employee, pushed in front of a speeding train ... you name it. Anything could happen to Hillary between now and the election.. She might even get beheaded by Islamic terrorists.
...Swifton Dedleigh
"the Cinton's are a lot smarter and much more liked than Nixon."
ReplyDeleteNot true. They're just a lot less principled and a lot more tricky. Anyone who likes them is Lo-Fo dupe or a simpleton.
...... Swifton Dedleigh
Well, I really don't care at all about the sorts of silly tail-chasing issues you cons like to run around with, but in the end, expect a Democrat to win the White House, the GOP to lose the Senate, and lose a nice chunk of their majority in the House in 2016. That I actually care about, and none of this other nonsense matters at all. You guys are like f'n moths.

DeleteYou were much more enjoyable to chat with after you stopped playing the village idiot, Jersey.
DeleteWhy have you resumed that role? It doesn't flatter you, and it does absolutely nothing to strengthen any of your reflexive, purely partisan, mostly nonsensical assertions.
If we're going to hold a sensible debate, we have to do a lot better than use endless variants of "You're a moron," and "Your issues don't matter to me," etc.
I think there's much too good a chance that Mrs. Clinton WILL win the White House, but not because she's done anything to DESERVE it. The Establishment in BOTH parties will cover for her, and wave aside all evidence that she did anything wrong, and will even deny her clumsiness and stupidity in behaving in such a way that issues such as the Secret Private Server could ever come to light.
WHY the Establishment wants her, I don't know, but I believe most fervently in the Shadow Government aka The Oligarchs who decide our fate in secret behind the scenes. In other words the democratic process was hijacked long ago and has become little but a sham.
Are you so blind that you honestly believe all the mounting evidence against Mrs. Clinton has been FABRICATED by Right Wing Operatives? Or is it that because she running as a DEMOCRAT you just don't CARE whether she's guilty of malfeasance or not?
I keep asking everyone I know who tries to talk politics what favorable qualities does Hillary Clinton possess?
Most of these people are admitted Democrats who've sworn to support her no matter what, but so far NOT ONE has given me any kind of answer. They just tell me I'm either rude or stupid to dare ask such a question.
How anyone could hope to use Reason to persuade anyone THAT hopelessly biased and blockheaded of the error of their ways, I can't imagine.
It's a tragic situation.
One must always be cautious when approaching silverbacks, Mr. FreeThinke. At one moment the old male seems benign, and the next, he's slinging his feces all over the place and bashing you over the head with a cocoanut. Beware!
DeleteFT @ JMJ,
Deleteis it that because she running as a DEMOCRAT you just don't CARE whether she's guilty of malfeasance or not?
That's it exactly.
But I must say this....On her Facebook page, my liberal sister-in-law was supporting Hillary to the nth degree because, in my sister-in-law's words "Hillary is a brilliant and accomplished woman."
My sister-in-law is no longer singing Hillary's praises.
For all of my sister-in-law's faults, she can no longer ignore that evidence mounting against Hillary.
FreeThinke, you forgot the plutocrats are in with the oligarchs pulling the strings of the elected government as they hide in the shadows.
DeleteAre you so blind that you honestly believe all the mounting evidence against Mrs. Clinton has been FABRICATED by Right Wing Operatives?"
DeleteMounting evidence of what?
"Or is it that because she running as a DEMOCRAT you just don't CARE whether she's guilty of malfeasance or not?"
No.
"I keep asking everyone I know who tries to talk politics what favorable qualities does Hillary Clinton possess?"
She's a highly competent centrist who grasps the weight of the office and will administer dutifully. For folks like me, all things considered, Clinton is a reasonable and mature choice. She is not optimal by way way of thinking, but she's both a more realistic and acceptable choice than what the morally bankrupt cons (re: all of them) have to offer.
JMJ
Eeeeeeeenterestingk! Varry, varry eeeeeeeeenterestingk.
DeleteIvana Teratitzoff
JMJ,
DeleteShe...will administer dutifully.
She didn't prove that with her handling of the ambassador's request for more security for the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi nor with her handling of sorting through emails. Those are administrative duties, aren't they?
Clue me in. What did she accomplish in the U.S. Senate? This is a serious question, not a snarky one.
AOW, I keep asking –– practically BEGGING –– for one of Hillary's fans to list her virtues and any accomplishments that might be described as "distinguished."
DeleteSo far, except for the occasional recital of mindless platitudes, the SILENCE is DEAFENING.
While Hillary Clinton is trying to claw her way out of her lies and more lies It is getting to a time where she not even viewed too favorably by her own pary base.
ReplyDeleteHillary is the clown at the circus that delights the audience by continuing to drop the balls that she is trying so desperately to juggle.
So far as the media is concerned, the press is so chock-full of Marxist ideologues that they probably believe America will drop her like a brink and turn to either Biden or Warren. But after 8 long years of Obammunism, if we get either one, Biden or Warren against either Trump or Bush in 2016, either Trump or Bush would win easily
But who really knows, we're going to see a lot of folks that look a lot like Cruz in the GOP primary, and each one's going to be just different enough on one or two issues to fracture the electorate, because even the American people aren't stupid enough to have forgotten how badly Obama and his gang screwed this country up. They'll need to be distracted by candidates like Trump or Cruz, so that they don't notice ol' Jeb walking away with it. At least, that's the way that I perceive it.
As for me, I'll be voting in the primaries for Donald trump and all, he's about the only hope we have left. And he's high visibility enough to have a chance of pulling a majority of the vote. Regardless of what you idiotic Lefties think about him. Lets not forget that you lefties put Obama into office. So you can't have any pudding.
The TeaPublicans have utterly damaged the GOP brand. But the strangest part about that fact is that they either don't seem to care, or they're so insulated that they don't see it. Those buttons are symptomatic of an irrelevant political party. They've lost the women and youth vote; they never had the critical thinking vote. It's just a matter of time before the GOPT lumbers off to a field of dry old bones to meet its end
ReplyDeleteIt is not my intention to alienate anybody by harping endlessly on the election. To be honest, at this stage of my life I would much prefer to be discussing geraniums and planning a vacation to France or Italy anywhere but England. Still, I feel moved to counter some of the unadulterated bollocks I hear spouted off in these Republican blogs with atomic regularity, because somehow commonsense decency has taken a hiatus in America.
ReplyDeleteFirst, this whole "Defund Obamacare" campaign of the Tbaggers is absurd. The ACA was NOT cooked up from a blueprint provided by the Kremlin. It is essentially the Bob Dole/Orrin Hatch plan cooked up in 1993 as an alternative to "Hillarycare". The insurance lobbies have gone full bore to defeat Obamacare mainly because it was worth a shot to save the small profit margin which they will lose following its implementation. They will not, however, go broke, as would have been the case if a sane single-payer national health service had been enacted into law, like the ones enjoyed by citizens of Denmark, Sweden, Holland, England, France and Germany.
So don't fret. We will still remain throwbacks to the 19th century among the industrialized nations of the world.
Second, my dad and his buddies were no screaming Commies. He was a Korean veteran and a machinist who loved his country and believed in the American Dream. However, he would have gone ballistic over the prospect of denying healthcare to thirty million of his fellow citizens. I daresay that most of your fathers would have felt the same. These were children of the Depression who understood what the New Deal was all about. It was not socialism, but fairness and cooperation, which created the great American middle class.
Somewhere along the line, we forgot the lessons of our fathers.
Finally, if you don't think demagogues like Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin are the enemies of democracy, then we all might as well give up right now and learn the words to Die Fahne hoch. These people are shills for some deep-pocketed oligarchs who hate democracy and see our republic as a government of the corporations, by the corporations, for the corporations. The Tea Party politicians are not even transparent about their reliance on Koch brothers monies. Yet collectively we choose to overlook this glaring reality.Fat, drunk, and stupid are the necessary qualifications.
And there you have the Leftist Narrative neatly spelt out by by Knittergran.
ReplyDeleteWe must publish at least one recital of LEFTIST BOILERPLATE –- of which Kittergran's two posts are an excellent example –– among the comments to illustrate the entrenched self-righteous, atheistic, falsely humanistic, sadly hubristic mentality that guides and governs the left.
If anyone has ever bothered to read Josef Stalin's Constitution of the U.S.S.R., as I have, he might easily find himself beguiled by the kind-hearted, sweet sounding, uplifting tone of the document. Fortunately, we KNOW the end of THAT story, and the sheer misery and utter hopelessness of life in the Soviet Union is well-documented no thanks to lying RED propaganda for which Walter Duranty of the New York Times won a Pulitzer Prize.
If anything will impoverish us and bring us to our knees the Enemies Within of which the New York Times has long been one will do it long before any weapon of mass destruction is exploded on our shores.
Many a fools thinks himself wise. Only a wise man knows –– and admits –– he is a fool.
"Many a fool thinks himself wise. Only a wise man now's -- - and admits - - he is a fool".
ReplyDeleteThe irony.
How so? I know where that came from. It's a true and honest thought. Every one of us IS a fool in many and varied ways. Admitting it, however, is half the battle in overcoming it.
DeleteIgnorance may be bliss, but it doesn't cut any ice.
We're all little crazy –– some more than others. Admitting that too can be helpful in combatting the worst effects of the madness.
