    Put on some Brahms, stretch out in that hammock, and relax.

    Blogistan is in that funky pre-election primary, almost summer funk. It'll pass.

    Maybe as a bonus, some of the dingleberries like 'party time' will lose interest and fall from the nut tree while you're gone

      Oh, Andie! I am very sorry this has happened to you. I just went to your blog, and read your tribute to the man you called father. I never knew before that such a rare and wonderful person had done so much to help you when you were young and so in need of good care.

      I can tell how grateful you are to him and how much you must have loved him. He looks like a very fine fellow.

      It sounds as though he may have been suffering from cancer –– the worst enemy of Life everywhere next to the more dismal aspects of human nature.

      Sympathy rarely does much good, but please know you certainly have mine.
