THIS NEW YEAR GRAND
Has life defeated you? I rather hope
Defeatist rhetoric will die aborning,
Though seen by many merely as a warning,
Each bitter word will serve to weave a rope
By which we’ll hang ourselves when the despair
We manufacture with denunciation
Of all the grievous faults that plague the nation
Convinces us our world’s beyond repair.
What good could we expect to come from that?
Affirmation is the only answer
To the questions posed by social cancer.
Get up and dance –– don’t bellow through your hat.
Although The Axe inevitably must fall,
Cringing will produce no good at all.

DeleteOld-fashioned home truths rooted in biblical wisdom may be distinctly at odds with the popular culture, but they never go out of style to those who do their best to look beyond the obvious nonsense and evil, disingenuous assertions that govern the surface aspects of our existence.
I do my best to restate those eternal truths in many and varied ways –– a humble occupation to be sure, but very satisfying, even if no one notices, understands or cares, even if they do. ;-)

Of course! We're overdue for a "Correction" of at least FIVE PERCENT right now probably more. Investors learn to factor in those possibilities and act accordingly. It doesn't worry me in the least.
DeleteThat's why the old saying has held true ever since the market has been keepng records: "On Wall Street the Bulls do well, and the Bears do well, but the PIGS get SLAUGHTERED."
In the long run NOTHING beats the stock market. Government intervention has slowed its progress and greatly diminished its profitability for investors, but even THAT has been unable to defeat the Market.
Just look at the graph charting the DJIA since its inception. You will see a wavy line that has done nothing but CLIMB to greater and greater heights in the past hundred years. Even the so-called Great Depression appears one as a mere blip.
Those who love "FACTS" and "FIGURES" should WORSHIP the Stock Market. The facts are ONE-HUNDRED PERCENT in its favor –– Marxian propaganda and inflammatory class warfare rhetoric notwithstanding.

ReplyDeleteI know that there are a lot of people who still can’t except, or can’t get over the fact that Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton because it seems to them that he should not have beaten her, after all, I know, we've heard it all before, Hillary deserved it, she waited for her turn and got passed over, not only once, but twice and she even was beat by a TV reality star that never spent one day in the political field! But it’s time for those people to come to grips with the fact that it happened, that it wasn’t the fault of the Russians, and that it is never going to be undone through impeachment, try to tell them that , but these walking Zombies seem incapable. They seemed more focused on the fact that Marijuana is close to becoming legal than the believing the facts about President Trump. Very few of them can distinguish Fake News from the Truth

Needles to say that after almost a year of those Colluding with the Russians” claims and came up with Zilch, the left is starving for some “real” dirt, and accusations that the Steve Bannon/Michael Wolff fits the bill perfectly So brace yourself, this story and this book, is going to heat up and don’t expect President Trump to just sit back amd let it have legs. While the entire herd of wild horses in the democrap party will focus on the giddiness over the revelations in Wolf's book, and making Michael Wolf a hero for bringing down Trump and for saving the world from Donald Trump.
A plain and simple gossip book with maybe a few lines of truth and more noise than anything else that maybe good for entertainment, but for nothing else. Grounds for Impeachment? I highly doubt it, I don't think that President Trump is going anywhere
