  2. Not sure if this would classify as a void, but it is apparently an unbridgeable gap that exists between the citizens of the United States. And it's a gap that that exists along the political divide. How is it possible that the biggest issues in an individual's life are a personal identity that is based upon some politician? Unfortunately today most politicians corrupted by the system and their political party because to rise in the political realm of either political party requires every politician to accept their proper recognition that as an individual they don't matter—they are just a small cog in a large machine that will continue onward "progressing" to some ill defined ultimate end that any honest human being would be utterly and totally revolted by.

So what you get are politicians who sell their soul becoming a fraudulent shell of a human being unable to take a strong and moral stand on the complex issues transpiring in the world today. They are able to follow a script and read it from a teleprompter but when it comes down to reality they are apt to spew some ridiculous nonsense about visiting all 57 states during the grueling political campaign.

So is it possible politically that all political choices presented are deeply flawed and dishonest? And what would happen to politician who strayed? They'd be crucified by the media to denigrate their ideas and finally if that wasn't effective, the final ultimate solution: Termination with Extreme Prejudice.

Too many elected Presidents have been dealt this card for it to be isolated incident committed by some deranged or disgruntled individual acting alone. A fringe lunatic would not be able to commit such an exaggerated atrocity of an American President, especially since it's not a one-off political act anymore but there may well be something much larger and more sinister afoot and taking place right before our very eyes—sometimes even in broad daylight at high noon.

One thing we can be certain about is that no politician today will stray off the straight and narrow path that is "acceptable". No discussion of American Foreign Policy and a foreign policy that has been followed by every Secretary of State that has occupied that position at least since the time of Woodrow Wilson being "placed" into the Presidency.

What about The Federal Reserve? Seems every second word that is uttered today in the media is "THE FED". Can a free market exist when the most fundamental determining factor in any economic system is interest rates. And that total market can be manipulated by the body that is in complete control of the currency of the nation. If one is for freedom and and free choice as most conservatives at least uphold as being a fundamental plank in their ideas, there should at least be a recognition that this game is rigged and will stay that way ... unless or until some movement expands enough to expose the lies and hypocritical posturing that passes today as "political debate".

    1. The "problem" one faces in exposing the "lies and hypocritical posturing" that lie at the foundation of out political system is that whilst doing so, one is required to substitute a new system of "lies and political posturing" to replace it. And since the "Fed" currently lies outside the reach of our "political system", no changes generated by our democracy will likely affect it, lest it be used to "usurp" it. And even if that were possible, those "behind the fed" already have a Plan B for replacing the dollar as the world's reserve currency. As a nation, we would have to "swear off world trade" entirely.

Me, I have other delusions to worry about. ;)

  3. Why should the Federal Reserve lie "outside the reach" of the political system?

The issuance of the currency was something that the Founding Fathers like Jefferson, Franklin, Paine and Madison absolutely stated should remain in the hands of the federal government. They felt so strongly about it that they created an amendment to the Constitution just to make sure there was no ambiguity about it.

Could the Federal government move to reclaim that power? And why should the power of issuing the currency—out of thin air—be handed over to a group of conniving thieves that made sure the people of the country would be unable to escape from paying for this fraudulent thievery by creating an Income Tax, which may, too, be just as unconstitutional?

    ReplyDelete
  4. The primary justification for an independent Federal Reserve is the need to insulate it from short-term political pressures. Without a degree of autonomy, the Fed could be influenced by election-focused politicians into enacting an excessively expansionary monetary policy to lower unemployment in the short-term. This could lead to high inflation and fail to control unemployment over the long-term.

Advocates of autonomy argue that an independent Fed will better address long-term economic objectives. Independence can also make it easier to execute policies that are politically unpopular but serve a greater public interest.

Could the Federal government move to reclaim that power?

In 1913, they couldn't just issue money "out of thin air"... that ability didn't materialize until "later":

On 15 August 1971, the United States unilaterally terminated convertibility of the US dollar to gold, effectively bringing the Bretton Woods system to an end and rendering the dollar a fiat currency.[2] This action, referred to as the Nixon shock, created the situation in which the United States dollar became a reserve currency used by many states. At the same time, many fixed currencies (such as the pound sterling, for example), also became free-floating.

  6. The Void is that guy who steals your pizza... no, wait...

Scientists are beginning wonder how much void there actually is. Apparently there's a lot of stuff out there. Something's causing the universe to keep on expanding, and it seems possible that a whole lot of teeny tiny stuff buzzing around the universe may be the answer. Nature may abhor a vacuum, a void, more than we think!

But then there's the House Speakership, so maybe voids are more common than we think.

I read if Paul Ryan doesn't run, there is no clear alternative. That's amazing. Almost 250 GOP Representatives, and no one but Ryan even comes to mind. I have to admit, I can't think of anyone, and I'm many, many years a C-Span junkie. Among the Dems, a half-dozen pop up in my head instantly. Among the GOP? Only Ryan. That's not good.

The GOP has gone so far off the rails, they can't see the track anymore. When I try to think of a Speaker, I'm left with only one. When I try to think of a crazy character? The list just goes on and on and on. The conservative movement in this country is a shamble, and it's wrecking havoc on itself.

And just remember Obama's quote from last November in the elections..."Just remember, I may not be on the ballot, but my policies are". Yep, and the voters remembered that at the polls, and took the majorities in every category. And when we do it again in 2016 at the polls, all the illegals will be evicted from this great country. All the Muslims will be watched and on their best behavior. So, to all the liberals...enjoy the diminishing power you have for the next 15 months...because every dog has his day...and yours has come (6 1/2 years ago) and will be gone in 15 months. Instead, Hillary is running for President, and she is ruthless. Beyond being an incompetent Secretary of State during the terrorist attack in Benghazi, she has decades of scandals that younger voters weren’t even alive to see.

Of course, you know how Hillary clearly discarded the Freedom of Information Act and federal government requirements through the former secretary of state’s use of a private email account for all her official business and then dumping half of her email. Just last week, senior State Department Assistant Secretary of State for Administration Joyce Barr told the Senate Judiciary Committee that Hillary’s email use was “not acceptable”: “I think the message is loud and clear that that is not acceptable.”

And yet, mainstream media and liberal progressives gave her another free pass.
