As My Dear Old Momma Used to Say,
"EMPTY BARRELS
MAKE the MOST NOISE."

 BOY, DO THEY EVER!
Tinkling Brass and Sounding Cymbals
every last one of them!
PHOOEY!

WHY MUST WE PAY ATTENTION to THEM?
They are like the chaff which
the wind driveth away.

  1. Democrats, demoralized and rejected by voters in November 2016, are now controlling the agenda, thanks to their mighty propaganda machine known as the Infotainment Media Complex.

A corollary to the cartoon caption: We have no crime, no evidence, so we must appoint a special prostituter to keep digging and asking questions until someone trips up and changes one word of their answer from how they answered before.

I wish President Trump would use his billions to hire an army of sharp lawyers and dirt diggers and start returning fire. Nobody in DC is clean. Time to start exposing DemonCrap corruption. Justice needs to start going after shady Obama admin peeps.

      Nobody in DC is clean.

      Pretty much!

  2. Please ignore the obvious so after 2018 the house goes blue. After 2020 the presidency goes blue, and likely the senate as well.

BTW, the BLOTUS has attempted to hire the most prestigious and arguably successful law firms in the USA to represent him. They declined, LMAO!

    2. One problem with your theory: Outside of the urban centers, people hate the Democrat party.

    5. Anonymouse,

It's not a belief, but rather an assessment based upon 2016 election results.

The Democrats are good at playing to the peanut gallery and stoking the rage and hatred of their fringe-left base, but it doesn't play well with normal people.

Years-long Democrat diaper rash ranting temper tantrums lost them Wisconsin. The GOP controls the legislature and the governorship there thanks to the hooting loonies on the left who made pathetic asses of themselves trying to smear a duly-elected governor.

Normal people take note of such unhinged histrionics and quietly back away.

So, Anonymouse, I say to the purple-faced, rage-filled DemonCraps fuming and stewing in their Trump derangement:

Please continue! Drop more F-Bombs! Continue to tell the American people how stupid we all are.

What president trump needs to do is form an elite squad of ex-navy seals, and have comey, mueller, the clintons, shoomer, pulosi, mccain, ryan, mcconnell, the editors of the wapo, the nyt, and whole lot of other stinkin dc assholes killed.

    7. Normally, I would resist such thiughts, ACG, but given present circumstances I'm beginning to wonder if something like that mght not be in order after all.

What was it Jefferson said about The Tree of Liberty?

That is just be "refreshed" periodically with the blood of patriots –– and TYRANTS.

Perhaps he should have added "seditionists, venal, self-serving politicians, illiterate ignoramuses, and short-sighted fools" as well.

    8. I strongly disagree with the APG troll. We still have elections, and Republicans are winning them, all over.

What President Trump should have done was realize he was going into an Armageddon death match and hired legions of lawyers, political sharpies and tricksters and eloquent and effective spokespersons.

Too late now. Mueller and his army of Democrat lawyers are on the march, the investigation is metastasizing in all directions, as they always do, and even if President Trump does not go down, the Lilliputians will have him staked to the ground.

Making the situation even worse, the GOP is a feckless, ball-less wad of dirty diapers with no coherent philosophy, no teamwork and no idea how to pass legislation and govern.

Essentially, its too late now. President Trump vowed to drain the swamp, but he's up to his ears in alligators, rates and poisonous vipers.

When the legislators fail to act on behalf of their constituents, when a party fails to support its own VICTORIOUS candidate, when ALL the cards are stacked against a rightful, duly-elected officeholder, ASSASSINATING one's sworn enemies may really be the ONLY logical alternative to outright CAPITULATION.

HOWEVER, Mr. Trump is by nature much too good a guy ever to stoop that low, so I fear for his well-being. But then again, he's one TOUGH DUDE, so he may yet prevail. Stranger things have happened.

      Only Time will tell.

    1. Mueller may indeed nab one or more of President Trump's "satellites" over shady business dealings or some odd misdemeanor as he casts his fishing nets far and wide, but regarding the president, there is not Russian collusion, and there is no obstruction of justice. The bar is way to high and the criteria quite specific. President Trump's actions don't meet that.

Mueller will follow he and Comey's MO:

His final report (dragged out for years and nicely timed as a stink bomb detonated at the start of General Election 2020) will exonerate the president of any felonies, but scold him for "improper conduct," leaving to be kicked around by politicians whether the President should be impeached or not.

What President Trump needs to do is hire an army of lawyers and sharp media flacks to do the following:

      * Pre-smear Mueller as a BFF of Comey, and therefor hopelessly conflicted. There is no way he can perform an impartial investigation.

      * Dog Mueller's every action. Ring alarm bells at every leak from his investigation and paint him and his team of Democrat donors as bitter partisans hounding the president out of revenge

      * Direct his Justice Department to investigate Loretta Lynch and how the Hillary investigation--after their destruction of evidence, stonewalling and lying--came to nothing.

      * Direct his Justice Department to ferret out leaks of classified information and harshly prosecute the leakers.

      * Hire opposition researchers to dig dirt on President Trump's tormentors. If they find lawbreaking, bring it to the Justice Department so they can prosecute the person. If no crime, but just embarrassing info, get it out there for all the world to see.

If President Trump does not realize it, he is on the pointy-end of a scorched earth campaign to the death waged by the deep state and the Infotainment News Media.

He had better start fighting back, and his warriors need to go for the jugular and draw some serious blood, or it will be game over for one-term (or less?) President Trump.

    2. SF,
Yes, Trump needs to fight back with exactly the strategies you mentioned. You should post that list at my blog (if you have not already done so at that thread).
