  2. I sure hope that Sandra hasn't assumed the horizontal position again. I can't afford to pay for her inevitable "next" abortion.

  3. That last graphic is so funny! Just look at the expressions on those dogs' faces.

How will that dog ever extricate itself from that hammock? The only way that I can think of involves the cutting up of the hammock.

  4. I'm waiting for some animal rights activist to tell us how, insensitive, cruel and disrespectful it is to promote those little white piglets as "bacon bits."

Don't worry, FT. It;s sure to come any minute now.

  5. AOW, Don't you think dropping the hammock to the ground then gently lifting the poor beast from its confines would work better? It would probably take two people, but it would certainly be worth a try.

We had a hammock when I was a boy, but it was made of heavy white canvas instead of netting.

It came with a sturdy tubular metal frame painted fire engine red that came apart in sections. The whole thing stored flat in a big long box we kept in the garage.

  6. FT,
That manner of extrication might work -- if the dog was still enough.

The mesh hammocks are cooler than the canvas ones. I've had both types of hammocks.
