ReplyDeleteIn March 2016 Carter Page Was an FBI Employee – In October 2016 FBI Told FISA Court He’s a Spy…
Posted on February 5, 2018 by sundance
In 2013 Carter Page was working as an “under-cover employee” (UCE) of the FBI, helping them to build a case against “Evgeny Buryakov”. In March 2016 Carter Page remained their informant pre-trial leading to a pleading of guilty from Buryakov.
[Note – Pay close attention to dates, names in descriptions amid all citations]
Sources: ♦ In 2013 the U.S. Department of Justice, Southern District of New York, announced an indictment against a Russian Operative Evgeny Buryakov. LINK HERE In March of 2016 Buryakov pleaded GUILTY:
Preet Bharara, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and John P. Carlin, Assistant Attorney General for National Security, announced that EVGENY BURYAKOV, a/k/a “Zhenya,” pled guilty today to conspiring to act in the United States as an agent of the Russian Federation, without providing prior notice to the Attorney General.
[…] The FBI obtained the recordings after Sporyshev attempted to recruit an FBI undercover employee (“UCE-1”), who was posing as an analyst from a New York-based energy company. In response to requests from Sporyshev, UCE-1 provided Sporyshev with binders containing purported industry analysis written by UCE-1 and supporting documentation relating to UCE-1’s reports, as well as covertly placed recording devices ...
...and Carter Page confirmed his testimony against Buryakov in the interview. He also wrote a letter to FBI Director Comey offering to clear up any questions in 2016.

DeleteYes, of course, but I was HOPING you –– and others –– would give me your PERSONAL OPINION of Page –– as he comes across in these videos.
DeleteI trust "reports" less and less, but still believe that "Reading Faces" and "Body Language" can be highly revealing.
I actually LIKE Carter Page, he seems very "honest" to me. Hostile reporters turn him into some kind of "idiot" because he won't agree that saying "hi" to someone is the same as "having a meeting" with them, or that a "meeting" (ala "Society of Friends") might have different connotations to different people (ala "Russians"). I have no doubt that he's an American counter-spy actively TRYING to get recruited by the KGB, and so, says a lot of PRO-Russians stuff and tries to make people believe that he wields more influence that he actually does. He seems earnestly of the belief that it's "relationships" that foster good international relations, and not "policies".
DeleteReporters like Anderson Cooper have an "agenda" that they do not stray from. They think that they already "know" the "right answers". Carter Page is refreshing because like Donald Trump, he won't "give them the answers they seek" and try to explain the "nuances" in their positions. In the first interview I linked to, the British reporter didn't seem to have the same "agenda" based approach, and was more receptive to Carter Page's responses to questions. Anderson Cooper was all about trying to get a "gotcha".
DeleteInteresting,Thersites! Page may be a great deal more clever than he appears. Frankly, he APPEARS to be a bit of a doofus, self-absorbed, a bit silly, too eager to be considered a player in the high stakes arena, and none too bright.
DeleteIn short he looks like a real jerk.
Perhaps that's only a "cover?"
Naturally, I couldn't agree more with your assessment of Anderson Cooper, cpulldn't the same be said of virtually EVERY member of the ENEMEDIA?
DeleteCarter Page may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer... but he is "sharp enough"!
DeleteHe looks much more like a Useful Idiot to me.
DeleteSounds like a great cover for a double agent.
DeleteWhy do the Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, keeps blaming Russia for everything that's wrong? ? When they should be blaming their own crooks who have been running the country for for the past eight years! And their own corrupted party.
ReplyDelete"Don't blame a mirror if your face is ugly,"
""Don't blame a mirror if your face is ugly,"
DeleteGood line, DD!
I'm making a note of it for future use.
All the marxicst DNC/ Libs involved should be indicted, tried and sent to GITMO for their treasonous acts. ... Another thing I have brought up time and again, where has DOJ Sessions been hiding?! Do your job! If this had been reversed and it w as the RNC caught with this level of corruption we would have already seen indictments and, there would have been wall to wall coverage by the MSM. ... To bad Rep Trey Gowdey is stepping down thought he would be an excellent choice to replace Sessions
ReplyDeleteGowdy is on the right side of most of it, but he's been notably INEFFECTUAL in his attempts to destabilize the Democratic Deadlock on Deep State Power.
DeleteThe same could be said of California congressman Darrell Issa.
The D'Rats are incredibly dept at STONEWALLING –– and they almost always GET AWAY WITH IT.

ReplyDeleteIt appears crafty devils at the highest reaches of the Obama government used suspicion of Page and Papadopulous to focus the Eye of Sauron on Team Trump.
What was the supposed reason for appointing the special prostitutor?
To continue on-going investigations, which we now know were investigations of Papadopulous and Page. Further, Obama political hack conflated this into a broader "Russian collusion by the Trump campaign."
A brilliant, diabolical scheme.
VDH does not reach my specific conclusion, but his essay is a nice recap:

Bictor Davis Hanson, who still insists he's a Democrat is, nevertheless, one of the most stable, sane, thoroughly prepared, super reliable exponenets of a profou[ndly conservative point of view on the pantheon of public commentators.
DeleteNever one to raise his voice or in any way wax overly demonstrative he often has the effect of pouring oil .on troubled waters so we may look beneath the surface and see what's there more clearly.
A welcome relief from the stridency of hyper-partisan anger mavens to say the least.
I was urging my former colleagues and — and frankly speaking, the people on the Hill, it was more actually aimed — aimed at telling the Hill people, “Get as much information as you can, get as much intelligence as you can before President Obama leaves the administration.”
ReplyDeleteBecause, I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior people who left. So it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy that the Trump folks, the Trump folks, if they found out how we knew what we knew about their, the staff, the Trump staff’s dealing with Russians, that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we would no longer have access to that intelligence. So I became very worried, because not enough was coming out into the open, and I knew that there was more. We have very good intelligence on Russia. So then I had talked to some of my former colleagues, and I knew that they were trying to also help get information to the Hill.

You comments are remarkably unclear.
DeleteExactly WHAT were you trying to convey?
Sorry if I'm too dense to be able to decipher your communication, but it's presented, despite the link, in a most curious, diffuse, CRYPTIC fashion.
Evelyn Farkas blurted that statement out on MSNBC less than a

Reportedly, she left government in 2015, and therefor is speaking authoritatively about information she should not have been privy to.
Thanks, Silver, but does she really MATTER?
DeleteShe is one more piece of a still very confusing puzzle.
DeleteLaura's panel makes a good point about the charges hanging over Page's head:
ReplyDeleteTell Mueller to shit or get off the pot. Charge the man or drop it. This has gone on for over a year and a half. My suspicion is the whole thing was bogus, a pretext.
Also, appeals judges need to look very dimly upon "process crimes" or whatever they're called when someone makes an immaterial misstatement due to insufficient note-taking or bad recollection. Such frivolous charges and convictions should be thrown out. It's junk law designed to intimidate people.
Apparently. MUELLER is accountable to NO ONE. He has been granted the status of a DICATOR with a LICENSE to KILL at will.
DeleteThis all by itself provides an excellent argument against the very existence of "Special Prosectors" –– an office that sho
uld never have been cfreated in the first place.
Surely we remember that the –– I'm going tocall it a "device" –– was initiated for the sole purpose of "GETTING" President Nixon out of office.

I watched the first video twice.
ReplyDeleteCarter Page appears to be preternaturally calm about being falsely accused.
He also seems to be amused. I don't understand why he would be amused.
He's a US spy. He's probably the most "investigated" person on the planet.
DeleteOh, wait. Paid FBI informant.
DeleteJoe,
DeleteMaybe.
But why would he be amused. Because Ingraham and the others don't know that he's a US spy?
You know, like Whitey Bulgar. ;)
DeleteBecause he tells the FBI EVERYTHING he does. He volunteered to brief Comey in November of 2016 when his FISA-Collusion trip was "revealed" to the press.
DeleteAoW. Your Senator, Mark Warner, is up to his eyeballs in this.
DeleteFrom HERE...
ReplyDeleteThe question is: Was Carter Page planted inside the Trump campaign to allow the FBI to spy on Trump?
Maybe that's why he is amused!
That doesn't explain his long letter to DOJ OCR comp[laining of "civil rights" violations by the Clinton Campaign... although he does make a pretty good double agent.
DeleteCarter Page writes more letters to government officials than Sen. John McCain...
DeleteYou sound as though you must know Carter Page, personally, Joe.
DeleteIs that true? –– or have you just read a great deal more than anyone else on the subject? –– or are you, perhaps, making conjectures?
Follow the links in this NY Times article and you'll see all the letters he writes.
DeleteCarter Page is playing these FNC "pundits" for patsies, IMO. That's another reason he's amused.
ReplyDeleteI'll repeat what i said to Thersites above:
DeleteFrankly, Page APPEARS to be a bit of a doofus, self-absorbed, a bit silly, too eager to be considered a player in the high stakes arena, and none too bright.
In short he looks like a real jerk.
Perhaps that's only a "cover?"
Interesting th,at feel he looked "abused.?
BEmused would be mofre like it in my estimation. ;-) He seems to be one of those all too common indiviuals who just LOVES being the Center of Attention no matter the reason.
A graduate of Annapolis? Well, so is John McVain. Proof that graduating from a presitigious academy provides no guarantee of anything.
I wodner what his class standing was when he graduated? Is there any easyway to find out?
Page graduated in 1993 from the United States Naval Academy; he was a Distinguished Graduate (top 10% of his class) and was chosen for the Navy's Trident Scholar program, which gives selected officers the opportunity for independent academic research and study
DeleteJohn McCain was almost the class "goat". He was ranked 894 of 899.
DeleteThe plot thickens as the Grassley Memo points to the KNOWN unreliability of the Steele dossier and its continues use to justify continued surveillance based upon Steele's reputation alone.
ReplyDelete...and Steele got his "dossier info" from, of all places... Sydney Blumenthal....
DeleteOy Vey!
DeleteEvidently, Hillary's "spy network" now runs the Deep State's spy networks.
DeleteNow confirmed... the Sydney Blumenthal to Steele dossier info pipeline.
DeleteHuh?

DeleteNot that I'm complaining, but why haven't seen Hillary lately? After weeks, and moths of her on the scene, and on the TV bitching and Moaning, and making all tose excuses about “Why She Lost” all of a sudden and ever since the talk of exposing the “Memo” she drifted in to hiding. .. And why isn’t the media chasing Hillary for her answers to the accusations about HER funding the phony Dossier and the phoney allegations of “Collusion” between President Trump and the Russians! Ever since the election she has been running around in public, on TV late night shows screaming about the President She even put her two cents in at the Grammy Awards. Why hasn’t anyone asked her, is it true that you and your henchmen gave information to the British spy whose information was used to spy on the Trump Campaign? And that you and the DNC paid the British Spy Mr. Steele for the “Dossie in an attempt to interfere with the election, and that was give to the court in order to get the FISA Warrant?
ReplyDeleteAnd this is the reason why the President came up with the term “Fake news”!
And in fact it was Hillary, the DNC, and Obama’s Department of Justice who ALL Colluded with the Russians.
Hillary's on her back out in the woods somewhere, drunk, her Depends diaper crapped full, shouting "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!"
DeleteWhy not be grateful for small favors, and just leave it at that?
DeleteHillary is like that nasty brown stuff stuff your neighbor's dog leaves on your front lawn.
No matter how hard you try to clear it away it ALWAYS comes BACK.
P____H____E____W____!

Hillary Clinton Paid For The Warrant, Hillary Clinton, the DNC Colluded With Russians. And Trump didn’t.
ReplyDeletePeriod!
Sure, but it won't make any difference, because "THEY" are only after President TRUMP and no one else will do.

Laura Ingraham has become a particular favorite of mine. She is a 54-year-old cancer survivor and adoptive mother of three who looks and sounds better now than she ever has before in her life.
DeleteTwenty-five years go, Layira was notably careless with her personal appearance, dressed indifferently and wore no makeup and barely combed her hair when she went on camera. Today she has bossomed into a real beauty. An amzing transformation!
