REPORTED TWO DAYS AGO on ANOTHER BLOG:

... Barack Hussein-O is having a hot bromance with Richard Branson on a private island in the Caribbean. The camera caught them paddling around on a foil raft gazing ever-so fondly into each other's eyes. A touching moment.

Michelle Ma Belle was nowhere in sight.

    Hmmmmmmmmmm ...

The PAPPARAZZI are as incorrigible as ever. They respect NOTHING and NO ONE.

BOINKING IN THE ESAT ROOM IS CONTINUING TO CONSUME TRUMP'S AND KELLYANNE'S FOCUS,

BANNON NOW RUNNING ROUTINE ACTIVITIES AS DEVOS CONSIDERS DISMANTLING THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

SESSION BELIEVED TO BE WEIGHING DECISION THAT WOULD DISENFRANCHISE MINORITIES AT THE BALLOT BOX.

MEANWHILE TILLERSON IS MEETING WITH RUSSIAN OFFICIALS IN AN ATTEMPT TO SOLIDIFY TRUMP'S DESIRE FOR A STRONG ALLIANCE WITH THE KREMLIN.

  5. Obama is relaxing, doing the things he did when he was young. Hawaii kids go surfing and so forth. He's a got a nice family, with a bright future, and hey, people like him. Even Trump does now.

I think, FT, Branson put the pictures out there. Wanted to show something, though what I'm not exactly sure. Whatever the case, Obama was having fun, something I think more people should do. I miss the water, myself. When I was young, my uncle had a summer place on a lake in northwest Jersey. We would sail little snarks and sunfish and cats all over that lake, really zipping along. We would play high-speed chicken, often causing tip overs, and a lot of fist pumping and "I'm gonna get you guys!" LOL!

I know Obama must not be very happy with the direction of things these days, but I think he can be assured to be remembered pretty fondly. He's a good man who tried his best and got America through a very tough time not too much the worse for wear.

Trump didn't win because of some backlash to Obama. He won because of a backlash to 40 years of economic stagnancy. The other most popular figure in the entire campaign - even more popular - was Bernie Sanders, a man who would have been unthinkable 10-20-30 years ago also. The American people want a dramatic change of course and though they are not sure of the direction, it doesn't matter at this point, they will simply opt for any change. If they don't like it, they react. Then they want the next change. Then react. It's a rather Open New World.

    1. Hey, Jersey! I do realize that our ex-president is only doing what he did best all during his presidency –– having a good time relaxing and hob-nobbing with the Rich and Famous, and the High and Mighty ––, but when I saw today's featured picture, I just couldn't resist the Cheap Shot.

I'm sure it's all quite innocent, but the PICTURE really does luridly suggest that Barry and Branson may be more than friends.

That would be okay by me by the way, but if True you'd have admit it was noteworthy.

I must disagree with you about Mr. Trump's victory. It was a TOTAL REPUDIATION of the hateful things President Obama and the Democrats have imposed on us for the past eight years.

Of course I don't believe ANYTHING put forth by the enemedia –– including their obviously manipulated polls –– and neither do a substantial majority of the American citizenry anymore.

I would agree that a well-earned distrust and frank detestation of Hillary Clinton, one of the lousiest candidates who ever ran for the office, played a big part in Mr. Trump's victory too.

How are you getting along these days? I think about you a great deal, Jersey, because I know what you are going through. Hang in there no matter what.

    2. Agreed Jersey.

Now FreeThinke, delete me. We know you are a scared of the truth.

    3. No, Les, I am not "scared" of anything except Islamaniacs on the rampage, and the blind idiots who would welcome them willy nilly into our midst with open arms.

However, I do not suffer fools gladly, and will not permit either myself or my guests to be heckled, badgered, taunted, bullied, and constantly pestered by an ignoramus of your despicable ilk. Neither will I permit this blog to be polluted with arrant nonsense –– as I define it.

You asked for it, you got it. NOW, GET OUT and STAY OUT.

  6. As one who knows zero about Richard Branson, I went web searching and found this:

Notable ministers of the Universal Life Church, which states Notable ministers of ULCM have included Glenn Beck,[9] Richard Branson,[10] Doris Day,[9] Kathy Griffin,[11] Hugh Hefner,[12] John Lennon,[12] Conan O’Brien,[13] Debbie Reynolds,[12]Joan Rivers, Jason Segel,[9] Kevin Smith and [9] Stephen Colbert.[14]

    Interesting.

    2. That IS curious, AOW. Obviously a Celebrity Club representing itself as a Religion –– possibly to get Tax-Exempt status? –– a ploy with which I would thoroughly sympathize. Certainly a motley and highly disparate crew among is listed members.

Some of what I read seemed cult-like. Then again, I didn't do any significant amount of research.

  8. Trump Was Tight!
Federal immigration officials say 160 people were arrested across the Southland over the past week during a crackdown targeting “criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants and immigration fugitives.”

The arrests took place in six counties during what U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials described as a “five-day targeted enforcement operation” that began Monday and wrapped up around noon Friday.

Of the 160 arrested, about 150 had criminal histories, while five more had either been previously deported or had “final orders of removal”.

Immigration advocates said they fielded calls Thursday from immigrants and lawyers reporting raids at homes and businesses in the greater Los Angeles area.

    1. Of course President Trump is right. The goes without saying around here. The president reflects the thinking of the vast majority of true American citizens. Only disaffected minorities, Jewish intellectuals, their conceited, arrogant, self-righteous, falsely educated disciples, Arab Muslims, most Negroes, and virtually all Illegal Aliens disagree with President trump's stance on national security, the economy, employment, and labor.

BUT, what does any of that have to do with this "Bromance" between Barry and Branson? It's only polite to refer to the subject of the post to which you wish to comment.

What the HELL are you talking about?
I'm a Trump Supporter as is my entire family and we are what you are calling Jewish intellectuals!
I think you are getting senile in your old age!!

    1. Oh stop running so true to form. It's very tiresome, and I won't have it at my place. If you and your family were the kind of Jewish Intellectuals I was referring to, believe me, you would not have supported Donald Trump.

I'm 75 years old, have seen much, read much, and know enough history to know what I'm talking about, since I was fortunate enough t have been born before the "revisionists" began to bowdlerize, sanitize and distort our understanding of history to fit the Marxist-Internationalist agenda that has had us hog-tied and ready for the abattoir for the last 45-50 years.

Like President Trump –– and a growing number of other fed up citizens –– I have no respect for, and refuse to abide by the dictates of Political Correctness. I don't care WHOSE toes I step on in service to HONESTY.

I'm a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant Christian descended from settlers who sailed from Cornwall to New England c. 1630, and proud of it. I and my kind have been insulted, demeaned, badgered, belittled, lampooned, beleaguered and all-but extinguished by the LEFT.

I'm sorry if it offends you, brother, but WE count TOO, have a LOT to be proud of, and NOTHING to apologize for, and I'm not going to deny it any longer.

    2. I've received a good deal of hate mail in response to this exchange, which I have, of course deleted. I refuse to be insulted, bullied, chastised, counseled, castigated or otherwise denigrated at my own blog.

However, the jettisoned remarks very sadly proved the point I was trying to make about certain elements being so self-conscious and so filled with a high exaggerated sense of their own worth and importance, that ANY MENTION WHATSOEVER of even their NAME is tantamount to waving a proverbial red flag in front of a proverbial bull.

These are people who are BRILLIANT BEYOND COMPARE at dishing it out, but have absolutely NO CAPACITY WHATSOEVER for TAKING IT.

I categorically refuse to abide by rules written or unwritten that DEMAND institutionalized HYPOCRISY and ONE-WAY RUDENESS.

  10. The Obama administration set a priority in his second term of deporting migrants with criminal convictions, and it has expelled 530,000 convicted criminals since 2013. Since taking office in 2009, Obama has expelled 2.5 million people, more than any other president.

Trump isn't doing anything that hasn't already been done by President Obama.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If that's true –– which I sorely doubt –– because most of Obama's vaunted "Expulsions" were ineffectual. They took place in a Revolving Door –– OUT then right back IN again. His administration counted every worthless Catch and Release Event as an "expulsion."

There is no comparison with what President Obama did half-assedly, and what President Trump would LIKE to do whole-heartedly, "damn the torpedoes, and full speed ahead." ;-)

But aside from that, what do YOU think of the remarkable photo of Branson and Barry cavorting in the Caribbean?

That what you are SUPPOSED to discuss on this thread.

      Delete
  11. Well, after eight tough years as POTUS I suppose it's a good thing to have a little R and R. Do you think he's a tight with Branson as you suggest? I'm not sure exactly what it all means.

But to put a sharper edge on the observation of a Caribbean Brr-mance and a bit closer to home:

    From The New York Post:

"When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.

In what’s shaping up to be a highly unusual post-presidency, Obama isn’t just staying behind in Washington. He’s working behind the scenes to set up what will effectively be a shadow government to not only protect his threatened legacy, but to sabotage the incoming administration and its popular “America First” agenda.

He’s doing it through a network of leftist nonprofits led by Organizing for Action. Normally you’d expect an organization set up to support a politician and his agenda to close up shop after that candidate leaves office, but not Obama’s OFA. Rather, it’s gearing up for battle, with a growing war chest and more than 250 offices across the country.

Since Donald Trump’s election, this little-known but well-funded protesting arm has beefed up staff and ramped up recruitment of young liberal activists, declaring on its website, “We’re not backing down.” Determined to salvage Obama’s legacy, it’s drawing battle lines on immigration, ObamaCare, race relations and climate change."

That may be of greater importance than what brand of cigar is currently smoking, IMO.

    1. I'm sure of that, Waylon. The putrid stench emanating from the Trump Opposition Movement has an odor characteristic of the rotting entrails of multi-billionaire, octogenarian, Jewish mischiefmaker George Soros, whose very BREATH I understand is vile enough to gag a maggot.

  12. Speaking of George Soros, I came across this video which seems to be directed at Trump supporters to sign a petition for Soros to be charged with sedition. The man, Bill Still, makes a strong case with plenty of evidence cited.

I doubt there's much that Donald Trump doesn't already know about George Soros and Obama but this may be something worthwhile to get behind since Soros doesn't seem to be going anywhere else soon.

    1. Yes, of course. It's horrifying to think that this quintessential FJB is an American Citizen. He has planted himself in our midst and has been acting the part of a One Man TROJAN HORSE ever since.

I doubt very much if our Founding Fathers, brilliant though they were, ever imagined that people of such a vile ilk would ever spring up like /minsters out of the ground to bedevil us with ABUSE of our scared First Amendment. But that's what typical FJB's do –– "they plow their fields with other peoples' heifers."
