A CHRISTMAS CATTOON

MIAOW
(Excellent, Mysterious, Subtle)
I put down my book,
The Meaning of Zen,
and see the cat smiling
into her fur
as she delicately combs it
with her rough pink tongue.
"Cat, I would lend you this
book to study
but it appears that you have
already read it."
She looks up and gives me
her full gaze.
"Don't be ridiculous," she purrs.
"I wrote it."

  1. About that first graphic...

I gave up on having a real Christmas tree once we had cats. Even the artificial tree had to be fastened to the wall.

BTW, I have now re-post one of my Christmas stories: Cameo and the Christmas Tree. Now a senior cat, she no longer tried to make ornaments history.

  2. The last photo looks very much like our cat, Mr. Mestopholes (Mr. Fleas for short) ;)
