The Wit and Wisdom
of ANN COULTER
Nemesis of Leftists

Part IV of a New Series

Random Quotes from Miss Coulter’s Work

'“It’s often said that those who are unduly bothered by gays are latent homosexuals. Isn’t it possible that people obsessed with racism are themselves racist?”'

'“Pilate was required to release one of the prisoners, so he gave the mob the choice of Jesus or Barabbas, a notorious murderer and insurrectionist –– in other words someone who incites mobs."'

'Again, the mob "spoke with one voice" demanding "with loud shouts" that Jesus be crucified.”'

“You know you're doing something right when you've reduced hordes of liberals to blind, sputtering rage.”'

  5. From Coulter's book How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must)?

When I checked out that particular book from the public library, the librarian behind the desk said, "What would anyone read a book with a title like that?"

    She and I had a -- ahem -- a confrontation.

  6. The Following is By Ann Coulter
I think she's a genius and applaud her, and admire her!

“So now it turns out Obama knew that 93 million Americans would have their health insurance canceled the whole time he was claiming, “If you like your insurance, you can keep it. Period.”

Obama lied. Period. “Hope and Change” was actually “A Sucker Is Born Every Minute.”

Even without the 2010 Health and Human Services (HHS) report admitting that 93 million Americans would lose their health insurance, anyone with half a brain (which is a pre-existing condition) knew that millions of Americans would be thrown off their insurance plans under Obamacare. Under the law, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is to determine what every health insurance plan must cover — and any plans that don’t are illegal.

As a result, gay guys are now going to be forced to buy plans that cover maternity care. Mormons will have to buy plans that cover gambling addiction therapy. Elderly couples can buy only insurance that includes pediatric dental care. Catholic hospitals will be required to provide birth control and abortions.
Our federal overseers, led by the arrogant and smug gender-feminist Sebelius, know what’s best for us. (Which is so nice of her since, as she recently pointed out, she doesn’t work for us.) Her idea of flexibility is not requiring Catholic priests to perform abortions. Not yet, anyway.
The smart people in the Soviet Union tried to plan the nation’s agriculture, and the result was 50 years of “bad weather.” And they were dealing with inert objects — land, seeds and crops.
They didn’t have to consider whether the fertilizer was a teetotaler who didn’t anticipate needing substance abuse therapy or a priest who preferred to skimp on marital counseling insurance.
Our central planners think they can direct something infinitely more complex than farmland: human beings and their individual health needs. Under Obamacare, the pushy and the connected win. Everyone else loses.”

  7. Communism, which is exactly what we have been saddled with albeit under a series of different names, may very well be The Last Enemy to be Destroyed, AJ.

My parents and grandparents realized EXACTLY what FDR and his mostly-Jewish Brain Trust had done to us, and -- to their credit -- they hated him for it. THEY understood, however, what the USA was supposed to be all about. Very very few do today, because of nearly a century of brainwashing by the evil, highly seductive Advertising, Entertainment, News & Information, andEducation Industries -- ALL of which are owned and operated by crypto-Marxists.

What was our country supposed to be all about?

Providing unfettered EQUALITY of OPPORTUNITY to make the most of one's natural attributes according to the dictates of each individual conscience and level of ambition.

It was NEVER intended to provide INCOME EQUALITY -- a perverse, demented notion straight out of the Marxian-Fabian-Liberal-Progressive Handbook.

  8. '“Pilate was required to release one of the prisoners, so he gave the mob the choice of Jesus or Barabbas, a notorious murderer and insurrectionist –– in other words someone who incites mobs."'

Sounds like a scene directly from the movie "Son of God" which is still playing in theatres, I believe.

I found the movie an accurate portrayal of what I have understood and accepted to be Christianity. The crucifixion scene might be a bit problematic. Pilate demands that Jesus Christ have a sign nailed to the cross identifying Him as "The King of the Jews" (in three languages). The Jews do object loudly saying assertively that He's not one of us. Not a Jew. Disowning him.

That may not be kosher with some people, including some fundamentalist Christians.

  9. I personally think that Ann Coulter is really a great lady. . She's great but no only because of her ripping Obama and Clinton apart, that’s isn't why she's great. She's great because she dares to NOT kiss Obama’s ass, and because she calls Islam what they are..
These liberal whining babies keep crying whenever Barry Boy screws up as says or does something stupid and that’s pretty often. But ain’t it funny that they seem to always bring Bush into the conversation when they want to get the heat of of Obama.
Ain’t it funn that nobody says anything about Warren Buffett has PROFITED $10billion (BILLION) thanks to his buddy Barack? Not one word has been sad on these boards about that.. Right Dave miller? You people are pathetic.
And whenever anyone talks about BJ Clinton you all say it was “Personal, no big deal”! Personal? If a republican president ever did the same thing. You'd never stop talking about it. Yes, it is a big deal. Presidents are NOT supposed to be getting blow jobs in the White House by young interns, in fact NO interns, young or not! And then he started a conflict (in Kosovo) to get his dirrty work off the headlines, so that he would avoid the impeachment process

Listen up you "Progressive hypocrites” You all wanted this internationalism, this “One World” crap now you lie in the freaken bed all day in the world that you traitors made. We Americans have to compete on a global market now, and when we do, the jobs shift right back here too. Grow up, put down the beer that you bought with Food Stamps, and get a freaken job

  10. Good Lord, EA! Remarks of that kind may contain a lot of truth, but they also contain many distortions, and I can't see their being helpful to anyone.

I know many liberal Democrats and count them as friends. We may not agree, but we don't abuse each other with a lot of invective.

There's a great deal more to life than politics. It's true enough that Ann Coulter -- and I -- enjoy the use of hyperbole and satire to skewer the left, but I hope we don't sound as bitter and angry as you.

Ruffling the feathers of leftists with hyperbole, sarcasm and mockery is one thing. Bludgeoning them with pure vitriol is quite another.

Yes. I enjoy making them angry, but I don't want to see anyone get hurt either.

And I assure you, many of these people are NOT hypocrites. They honestly believe in Marxian thinking -- and that, of course, is the saddest and most frightening thing about them.

More to be pitied than despised is my verdict on leftists -- except for the evil geniuses behind it all.

    Euro-American is right!
Buffett with help from Obama on his investment decisions, arguing taxes have no impact on investing, especially when you know the right people.. The epitome of hypocrisy. When buffet calls for higher taxes on the rich, he's not referring to himself.
Warren Buffett gained more wealth than any other U.S. billionaire, adding $37 million a day....While that was pretty blatant hypocrisy, Buffett’s latest elaborate scheme to avoid $400 million in capital gains taxes from the disposition of a large chunk of Berkshire Hataway..These poeple disproportionately benefit from loopholes, deductions, exemptions,

  13. The highly charged, exaggerated, spiteful rhetoric indulged in by Conservative chauvinists is counterproductive. Humorless, mindless bashing of leftists actually works to their advantage.

An obnoxious, boldly assertive, abrasive, harshly accusatory style was once the province of the left. As self-appointed conservative spokesmen have become increasingly strident and unhinged, leftists have learned to tone down their belligerence, cut their hair, put on a well-tailored suit and tie, and give a good imitation of gentlemen and ladies.

Ergo, "we" wind up looking like a bunch of monkeys gone out-of-control.

The left may have deadly plans for the destruction of liberty and prosperity, but no one could ever say the architects of their various campaigns are unintelligent.

I think the tactic is called baith and switch.

Too bad so many of "us" have fallen for it. "We" are making ourselves a laughing stock.

Point of order. I have often complained about the oligarchy (as has Silverfiddle ad some others).

It's a serious topic along with others such as why we have weakened our security by transferring our industrial base overseas and ignoring the middle class.

However, folk like yourself seem to feel it is better to watch Coulter and the rest of the zoo monkeys rub poo in their hair and soil the walls of the cage.

Nobody ever summed it any better or more succinctly, FT. Thank you so much.

Does't Mr. Ducky realize that Mr. Buffett and he are both Marxists at heart? They are on the same page. Mr. Buffett is a prominent liberal Democrat. So is Mr. Gates. They resemble the late Armand Hammer in this regard.

Doesn’t anyone does not see the hypocrisy in this!!! I just happened upon this post, and I can’t believe how naive these ignorant progressives are!
Warren “Please raise my taxes” Buffett who has been running around complaining that the government should “stop coddling the SUPER-RICH” and should raise taxes, is reportedly suing the IRS to avoid $643 million in taxes that the government says Berkshire Hathaway’s Nets and Jets subsidiary owes the government for failing to collect ticket taxes from Nets and Jets customers (who include Mr. Buffett the communist, fascist, Obama-loving, Nazi! himself).

  17. As someone who frequently and strenuously argues against Ducky's Marxism, I must agree with his comment above. The non-partisan, bi-partisan, non-ideological oligarchy is the greatest threat to the American experiment.

FT: I also agree with your comment about conservative chauvinists.

I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, longing again for the three of us to travel back in time to Medici Italy...

  18. Ducky, Free and Silver... You know i would all in for some open discussion about whatever the issues.

The problem is that people enjoy scoring easy points, rather than seeking solutions.

Add in the transients that drop by, don't read the posts and just paste in their robotic comments that are already spewed across various blogs, and that nothing to do with the current post, and you've got a toxic stew.

Is it all because it is much easier to treat people badly when it is semi anonymous?
