The Wit and Wisdom
of ANN COULTER
Nemesis of Leftists

Part III of a New Series

Random Quotes from Miss Coulter’s Work

'In his fawning hagiography of Teddy Kennedy, Clymer wrote that Kennedy's liberal voting record made up for his killing that girl at Chappaquiddick. I didn't believe it either, but Adam Clymer actually wrote: Kennedy's "achievements as a senator have towered over his time, changing the lives of far more Americans than remember the name Mary Jo Kopechne." (A review in The Washington Monthly said Clymer's Chappaquiddick section did "not sugarcoat his subject's flaws.")'

'This is the way addled liberals really think. Even as they champion sucking the brains out of little babies, they think of themselves as indelibly compassionate because they favor an overweening, behemoth federal government.'

'That's what the Supreme Court did in Roe vs. Wade, and has repeatedly done in periodic codicils to its original edict. ... In Stenberg vs. Carhart, the court expanded the apocryphal abortion right to an all-new right to stick a fork in the head of a half-born baby.'

'The first lunacy keeps being rewritten to give abortion enthusiasts everything they could possibly want.'

  1. Ted Kennedy? So early in the morning? Please, I just ate breakfast! Give me a break.

  2. Putin does not want a buffer, he wants the Soviet Union back. He wants to continue to humiliate our President and our nation (granted Obama bends over backwards to make that no difficult feat). While the US and EU make speeches and dither over the G8 Putin continues to make his moves. Obama has no cards to play because he couldn't give them away quickly enough. He lost to Putin when he leaned over an promised him "flexibility" during his second term. He will continue to lose because our President is weak and dedication to a foreign policy that is based in fantasy.

Bottom line is that liberals can't surrender fast enough to these Commies. .Their new name for it is “sanctions”! Well, in my eyes, “sanctions” mean nothing

  3. Although, I believe that it is true that Putin is making Obama look like the biggest fool on the planet, I do not believe it is the Office of the President he is smearing, but simply, the man in the office.

Like all lefties who have been thusly challenged, he deflects, distracts, distorts or ignores but doesn't engage.

If it quacks like a lefty, waddles like a lefty and preens like a lefty, it's a lefty. Even if it wears a black sheepskin.

As for Kennedy I think that he was the most over-rated Senator in history, with McCain a close second. Or maybe a tie for second with Lindsey Graham.

Besides, bashing Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy is so much fun!

Zing! One of the most spot-on words that she has ever penned.

Yes, it's true that Ann is not only Witty but she possesses much Wisdom!
In regard to today's situation in Russia, she has said the following.
It’s pointless to pay attention to foreign policy when a Democrat is president, unless you enjoy having your stomach in a knot. As long as a Democrat sits in the White House, America will be repeatedly humiliated, the world will become a much more dangerous place — and there’s absolutely nothing anybody can do about it.

And i agree, there is NOTHING that anybody can do about it. And that surly includes sanctions that seems to be Obama's newest weapon of choice. Sanctions against Russia will mean NOTHING, So sit back in your bomb shelter and enjoy the horror.

  6. So Ann Coulter writes a commentary Crimea River. I read it expecting to read some Coulter insight into the putsch in the Ukraine that installed Arseniy Yatsenyuk as the selection of the U.S. State Department, leading to the secessionist vote in the Crimea. But I was wrong. It's a commentary strictly focused on "liberals" from Truman to the present.

Admittedly she's witty at times but I can only take so much of her. And where the hell does she stand on the Crimea issue? Is she calling for the country to "man up", and lace up your army boots and get ready to roll into the Ukraine, or what? In support of the obvious rat "Yats"?

    It's a good question!
Probably to avoid shedding American blood! I'd hope. But I'm not sure not with this president.

  8. Ann Coulter is rightwing porn.

Conservatives love the pleasure hearing her trash their ideological opponents, and the squeals from the liberals heighten the experience.

She is factually dead-on, and often funny, but like porn and masturbation, it serves no higher purpose.

The left has a complete lock on speech in this country. They are the gatekeepers, instructing us with a positive nod or a frowning head shake what is funny and acceptable and what is to be shunned or punished.

Paul Ryan is the latest example.

If conservatives want to win people over, they need a better game plan than Ann Coulter and Ted Cruz.

You don't win friends and influence people by slapping them in the face and shoving rhetorical red hot pokers up their asses.

"Conservatives," if you must call them that, have suffered the pangs of being slowly boiled alive too long to want to win liberals over to the conservatives' point of view. Right now, we are out for blood. We don't want to convert them, we'd like to seem them turn into vapor, and dissipate somewhere in outer space.

  10. Richard Hardon: (if that is your real name ;)

So based upon your own criteria, she fails as well. She has not turned one liberal into vapor.

Politics is a game of addition, not subtraction.

jez, the first requirement would be to have a sense of humour yourself. Unfortunately avid progressives lack that unless it shows itself in some morbid way denigrating something which the "progressive mind" has been programmed to detest.

  15. A lot of people -- all along the political spectrum -- enjoy acerbic wit from Leftists.

Why should Coulter's acerbic wit be so offensive to so many people?

    ReplyDelete
  16. @ AOW: Why should Coulter's acerbic wit be so offensive to so many people?

Because the left has a stranglehold on the culture.

They are the final arbiters who possess the giant thumbs-up/thumbs-down.

Jon Stewart slashing away at anything to the right of Lenin is funny, Ann Coulter doing the same thing in the other direction is just mean and nasty.

They read Orwell's essay on controlling language and thought, and ultimately, the debate.

Their ultimate Orwellian triumph was calling themselves 'Liberal' and getting everyone to go along.

  17. Waylon: why would you having an example of Coulter being funny require me to have a sense of humour?

Go on, I'm interested in whether she's funny or not (but not enough to read her generally) so I'd be grateful for someone to point me to a passage that particularly made them laugh. Thanks.

  18. Silverfiddle: I've found John Stewart funny on occasion (though not a very good hit-rate). Do you think he's funny?

Jon Stewart, Blll Maher and all creatures of their despicable ilk are not only NOT funny, they are an affront to human dignity.

In short: they stink on ice.

Asking a question like that is proof of mental deficiency."

  21. Jez: I don't watch TV, but from the clips I've seen of Stewart, yeah, I think he's very funny, and probably quite quick-witted.

  22. Must be the Generation Gap, Kurt. You and I often see eye to eye, but apparently not where popular culture is concerned.

I find Ann Coulter vastly amusing, you do not, but I was glad to see you admit this time around that at least she does tell the truth.

I think Stewart is an absolute PIG -- a snotty Smart Alec, and all-around son-of-a-bitch. He's so full of himself its a wonder he doesn't burst wide open and spill the purulent matter of which he must be made all over the set whenever he does his show, -- and you think he's funny. OY!

You see, unlike Ann Coulter, he's not even HALF kidding. They guy is a veritable wellspring of MIND POISON. His mind, his heart, his whole personality is a SEPTIC TANK.

    "Who can explain it,
    Who can tell you why?
    Fools give you reasons
    Wise men never try."

Lots of rudeness here today, but what else is the blogosphere all about but the unfettered expression distaste, disapproval, disdain and degradation -- A regular Denigration Derby all day every day? Ain't it lovely? -- NOT!

It certainly is the most humor-challenged place I've ever encountered. Downright EERIE if you ask me.

Today's quotations were about the disgraceful liberal attitude toward abortion and infanticide.

I find it telling that no one, so far, has deigned to address those particular points.

  25. Hi FreeThinke,
I dislike Jon Stewart, my opinion much like yours, but I can acknowledge that he is funny.

I think Coulter is entertaining, and she says what needs to be said, but other than making millions entertaining her own crowd, I don't know what she accomplishes

  27. Ann Coulter neve whines, she delivers endless, barbed, well deserved insults with a wink and a nod. She's always on the attack, but look who she's constantly putting down. That element deserves every bit of vilification it could get.
