 EMPTY-HEADED SILENCE SPEAKS VOLUMES

  1. I, for one, never once expected the current President to do ANYTHING good for this country or her citizens.

  2. That makes about 150-million of us, Thersites.

ALL the Left could see, and ALL they CARED about -- was getting a NEGRO in the White House. Of course he (or she) had to be the RIGHT KIND of Negro -- meaning one that would obey THEIR dictates and implement THEIR leftist Agenda.

Not to bear down too hard on the obvious, but the WRONG kind of Negro -- someone with a legitimate, up-from-the-bootstraps background and real accomplishments to her credit like Condoleezza Rice, let us say -- wouldn't do at all, because THAT kind of Negro would not support the Marxian-Fabian-Socialist-Statist-Dictocrat plans for the country.

A baseborn leftist bastard half-white Negro like Barack Hussein Obama on the other hand was the PERFECT candidate for the Left.

    WHY, you ask?

Because a mindless ideologue like BHO, conditioned from birth to despise America, would slavishly do their bidding. AND give them all the protection they needed in wreaking havoc, because ANY criticism of BHO, --- no matter how sober, reasoned and justified -- would instantly be hooted at as "RACIST."

So it isn't about advancing the cause of American Blacks Leftists care about at ALL. It is -- and always has been -- about advancing THEIR Long March toward ABSOLUTE, DICTATORIAL POWER.

  3. More Bull from this horrible empty Tan suit President! Put down those DAMN Golf clubs and do something already!

  4. When he decides on a strategy, and who knows when that will be, then we MIGHT do something, but until then he’ll stand their in his stupid suit and tell the world that “we will not be intimidated” . Real Cool, don’t you think? NOT! Tell that to his Mom, and to Steven’s Mom, and to those Navy Seals, who were murdered in Benghazi with Steven’s families.
Bet he now regrets destabilizing Libya, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, and sending weapons to the insurgents in Syria, I’m sure.

  5. He tells the world that: “We Will NOT Be Intimidated?
Intimidated? They go around and chop off the heads of our citizens and he calls that being intimidated? For Crist’s Sakes, this is an act of War!
How long is this going to take before this MORON we have in our White House wakes up and Bombs the crap out of these Sons of Bitches?
Why would anybody believe what Obama is saying?? We watched him, as our leader, do nothing after Foley was beheaded. He said "We don't have a strategy.", relating to the situation. Then we get another American beheaded. I don't get it. Our president does not have the leadership skills to handle this. We need help. We need our military Generals to be allowed to do what they do best.
Obama never did care about the Constitution or our military. He is just a egotistical narcissistic, Marxist with not one ounce of concern for this great Country of ours.

And that's really the entire thing in a nutshell. The cancer known as liberalism is so absurd, that even the despicable liberals calling for their failed ideology refuse to adhere to what they are calling for.

I wonder what lack of shame it takes to demand that everyone do what they refuse to see. If this were the president that I supported, I would be beyond ashamed!
But NO! These Numb-Nuts are still supporting him and making all kinds of excuses for him..

  6. The Magus said:

Yes, yes yes, but I don't see anyone here suggesting any positive moves the president might take to conquer this damnable army of barbarians, do you? All I see is the usual impotent name-calling and childish outbursts of rage. None of that helps in the least.

In no way would I want to defend this president, but James Thurber once quipped, "He who hesitates is sometimes -- saved." There may be more truth than comedy in that.

    ReplyDelete
  7. For how many more years should we "hesitate", Magus? Hasn't six been enough for you?

btw - Who "broke" Libya? Syria?

  8. When your only "policy" is "withdraw" it's no wonder that your enemies advance and taunt you.

And if your policy really is "withdraw", then you don't lay down covering fire for those whom you have abandoned. They are homo sacer", people who's lives have no meaning.

  9. So, either engage with the world or go home. But if you decide to go home, don't cry for the allies you left behind. You as good as killed them.

  10. The right is so much more interested in dishing on Obama rather than coming to any comprehensive understand of our Middle East policy which has been a shambles for for some time.

    ReplyDelete
  11. A shambles caused by inconsistency, one President UNDOING the work of his predecessor.

  12. Ducky, criticism is much easier than trying to think through a reasonable solution...

The only solution I've seen proposed by our friends on the right leaning blogosphere seems to be a bomb them back to the stone age action.

While sharing the angst of many, I fail to see how this will lead to a lasting peace across the region.

Are we just going to kill everyone except the Israelis? Millions and millions of people? Absent are any suggestions as to how we can ID the real bad guys.

I'm open to suggestions and ideas, as long as they are based in reality, as opposed to some fantasy world.

Myself, I have no idea how to solve this... it is just too stinking multilayered with past allies, enemies and unknowns...

In short, it is a mess. A mess that started long ago, long before Obama and Bush...

    ReplyDelete
  13. Well "Dave", the post-modern "Republic" that you wonderful progressives have given us is no longer amenable to implementing political "solutions".

There's only "your way" with any deviation from it having to be "reversed". So please, own up to your mess. You only seem to want to enforce laws that don't apply to you or the extra-Constitutional actions of an omnipotent Executive.

  14. Farmer, you are one to comment on Ukraine.

When I first said it was a bad mistake to talk about Ukraine joining NATO, you denied the whole sorry mistake.

Well, Ukrainians are still caught between two powers trying to swing big di--s.

The great game at its best and Teabags can play with the finest.

  15. The Russians are calling Obama's "bluff". Wanna know why? Because they can smell his weakness.

If you're gonna play the game, you either play to "win", or you automatically "lose".

  16. Question: “Did the president underestimate ISIS [the terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria] when he referred to them in an interview only a couple months ago as a JV squad and making a reference to National Basketball Association basketball teams like the LA Lakers?”

Answer: Obama was briefed on ISIS for Year ... and Still President Obama Called Them JV ... and Still He Has No Strategy - Fox Nation
After suggestions that the administration may have been blindsided by the rise of ISIS, and that poor intelligence was to blame, the former Pentagon official said some of the intelligence was so good it was described as “exquisite” when the President drew a red line on chemical weapons use in Syria in 2012.
The source who is familiar with the deliberations said “(we) were ready to fire, on a moments notice, on a couple hundred targets,” but no order was given. In some cases, targets were tracked for a “long period of time” but then slipped away.

But I think that everybody needs to stop picking on poor Obama. He's doing the best he can! It's not his fault that he has no experience with these kinds of things. He means well. He's just a little clueless skinny jerkoff with No Strategy.

And in other news today across the nation, Mooshell is cranking out those cupcakes that are being sold at bake sales all across the nation. Progressives are so great aren't they? Cupcake Dave? Cupcake Shaw?

  18. By now you've read or heard about the chattering classes who went all Edith Head over President Obama's sartorial choice the day he gave a press conference to discuss ISIS. Some people even went so far as to suggest he was thumbing his nose at the American people by wearing this perfectly normal and, may I add, natty attire.

Seriously, America? You, well not all of you, went bonkers over a tan suit? Please. Do yourself a favor and go out and live. You're embarrassing yourself over this.

BTW, when it comes to wearing of now famous Tan Suit Ronnie Raygun takes the title of Mr. Tan Suit President. Not nice of him to thumb his nose at the American people! And so many times!

Who are You kidding Joe, you and your Boss are both full of crap. The only place you 2 are going are out on the Golf course.

  20. Thersites, your quick to mock Pres Obama about the reset remark, as if he's the only pres who possibly misjudged Putin. We're you as disgusted with the "I looked into his eyes and saw his soul" remark of his predecessor?

Regardless, you, like many, offered no real world solutions.

    Tough stuff...

  21. This incessant game of ping pong on the theme of Your Guy Was Just As Rotten As Our Guy gets us NOWHERE. Neither does it absolve any of the miscreants from responsibility for his (or her) malfeasance.

In short EVERYBODY is BITCHIN' but NOBODY is STITCHIN.'

Don't help nobody no way no how no time, does it?

  22. you, like many, offered no real world solutions.

I offered many "real world" solutions. The Bush Admin didn't listen to me. Neither did the current one.

Had I been running things, Moqtada al Sadr would be running Persia Iran/Iraq from Qom. And Ali-al-Sistani, as marja-i taqlid would have put the Khomeini Wilayat al Faqih heresies into the Shi'a ash-can of history.

  25. That's adorable, Ducky but what is it supposed to mean?

Not being able to understand Russian -- or whatever dialect they are speaking as they giggle and guffaw -- I have to admit I am in the dark.

Do you mean to imply that out concern over Ukraine may be undeserved, ad that the Ukrainians are a nation of happy clowns and pranksters?

The charming video is more reminiscent of The Land of Oz than a war zone.

  26. I think it's a commentary upon the "commercialized" nature of the West... that we have somehow "mugged" Russia for control of the Ukrainian market and that Putin's "oligarch's" are our victim.

  28. Neither fan nor foe. New to me! Always good to learn that other people find crazy ways to enjoy themselves the same as we do. We are not the only loons in the planet.

I did get to know several Russians late in my life, and fond them rather boisterous in their "off" times, but equally earnest wen on the job.

ll had emigrated to find a better life here. Most were well educated, and had been employed in positions of responsibility. One had been a high school principal, another a civil engineer, another a professor of languages. And yet they did not regret giving all that up in Russia to come here to work as domestic assistants and practical nurses.

The stories they told me confirmed every ill opinion I've had of Communism and Socialism.

It was the same with a German woman and her husband. She had been a legal secretary in Germany and he had owned a bar and grill, yet they were never able to get ahead financially and couldn't even dream of buying property. After a few years here doing domestic work and home nursing they were able to buy two houses -- one to live un, the other to rent as income property.

Americans who embrace Marxian principles with enthusiasm would do well to make the acquaintance of immigrants of this kind.

  29. Does the opposite imply that for good to triumph all that's required is for an evil man to do nothing?

Does the "doing nothing" that some fine folks assert is President Obama's mean that this could be his path to salvation in the minds his his current critics—his way of "doing good"?

    ReplyDelete
  30. President Obama is trying to blame Bush but he won the war and Obama then handed over to ISIS.
He thinks people will fall for his blaming Bush BS for what is obviously his failure, but that line has been getting thinner and thinner and now, it’s nothing more than a cheap lie and a lame excuse for Obama’s failures..
And by the way, President Bush warned that if we pulled out of Iraq too soon, it would be dangerous for Iraq, the region and the United States; it would mean surrendering the future of Iraq to al Qaeda. It would mean we are risking mass killings on a grand scale. It would allow the terrorists to replace the safe haven they lost in Afghanistan. It would mean we’d have to return at a later date to confront an enemy who is even more dangerous
I’m glad to hear this, It's high time that Bush to call a spade a spade...a very dull spade.
