Part Four of Five

THE ANTI-LIBERAL LIST

Broken Down into Five Parts

Twenty Statements Each

Another face of liberalism

[When first presented we recommend treating this as a TRUE and FALSE Quiz, then asked for elaboration on any point or points in particular.  Now we’re revealing answers of our own to which you are invited to respond as fully and furiously as you like.   ~ FT]

61. Liberals believe guns, themselves, are evil, and that the criminals who use them to maim and murder are in fact victims of the NRA.

FT: False –– a bit of twisted logic that aids in destroying the credibility of  the conservative movement.

62. Liberals have a deep hatred of anyone that speaks of defending himself by using lethal force against his attackers.

FT: False. I'd never put it that way. However, liberals do have a deep dislike and distrust of allowing individuals to have access to lethal weapons.

63. When liberals talk, they make a lot of noise, but rarely make much sense.

FT: False –– but partly true. From their point if view liberals make a great deal of sense; from ours they appear to have a penchant for dictating terms.

64. Liberals not-so-secretly worship Karl Marx.

FT: True –– but few of them realize it –– or are willing to acknowledge it when presented with clear proof of the assertion. They simply refuse to own up to it, and vehemently accuse their attackers of malice, stupidity or dishonesty.

65. Liberals don’t want to leave you alone, instead they heckle, badger, question, demand explanations and mercilessly wear you down with "Jesuitical Logic," until finally you get so exhausted from the constant buffeting, you'll agree to anything just to get the bastards to SHUT UP.

FT: True –– to a limited extent. The most visible, vocal and vicious among them behave this way. Anyone who has ever been subjected to "the treatment" knows exactly what we are talking about. Many of these people remain in perpetual attack mode, and thus live on the ragged edge of hysteria all the time –– or so it seems.

66. Liberals are eager to monitor everything you do at all hours of the day and night. The emergence of a totally controlled society where no one could possibly step out of line for even a second without suffering swift and deadly reprisal is their dream.

FT: True, although the majority of "them" may not realize it –– and would never admit , if they did –– that this would be the inevitable outcome if their dreams were fulfilled.

67. Liberals are masters at engendering feelings of guilt, shame and responsibility in those innocent of any wrongdoing, other than the attainment of a reasonable degree of prosperity.

FT: True. Their tactics never worked on me, personally, because I've always been able to see through them, but they certainly have a had woeful effect on the population as a whole.

68. Liberals override logic, reason, and good common sense with feelings of ersatz compassion for  the "victims of society" most of whom tend to be misfits, malcontents, malingerers, and violent criminals.

FT: True –– at least in part. I many instances the feelings of compassion may be sincere , but those who believe in Purity of Motive among the instigators most certainly qualify as "useful idiots."

69. Liberals believe that a criminal has the right to be kept safe anywhere, even when he's inside your home holding a weapon on you and your family.

FT: True and false both. Many liberals believe in "measured" retaliative force, and consider it criminal behavior if a victim dares to "overreact" to invasion, assault, the threat of battery or outright mayhem.

70. Liberals would rarely step in and use physical force to the aid a victim of assault and battery, instead they might call 911.

FT: False and true both. Very few of us have the courage –– or the wherewithal –– to intervene physically on behalf of a victim of violent assault.

71. Liberals will use every legal trick in the book to frustrate and stymie your efforts to profit from your investments and your ingenuity. Their primary motive for this is to let you know that it's they –– not you –– who's in control.

FT: True –– or at least it certainly seems so to those of us who fervently believe in unfettered Capitalism. There are plenty of super-rich liberals, however, whose very existence seems to belie the accusation.

72. Liberals tend to be crafty, devious, and manipulative. They have no compunctions against using deception to get what they want, because they firmly believe their ends are so worthy they justify whatever means may be necessary to get implemented.

FT: True, but not strictly so. This is probably one of those cases where both sides might be equally guilty of the same sort of behavior.

73. Liberals have evil intentions behind the honeyed words they use telling us their only intent is to benefit all of society.

FT: True and false both. Most liberals are probably quite sincere, and honestly believe their policies are beneficial. With most of their leaders, however, it's an entirely different story. The intent of the authors and prime movers of liberalism has always been to destroy the status quo.

74. Liberals would abridge the Constitution to exclude any mention of God in public spaces.

FT: True –– or so it certainly seems.

75. Liberals work to turn perfectly satisfactory standard household items like old-fashioned toilets and incandescent light bulbs into into contraband.

FT: True. They will tell you it's for the sake of the environment or to make your life safer and saner, but in truth most of their initiatives are conjured up as a means of eventually seizing and holding absolute power.

76. Liberals continually flood the system with new increasingly intrusive laws and ever-more tightening restrictions that even a lawyer can’t keep up with. The object is to keep everyone confused, off balance –– and increasingly vulnerable –– to public embarrassment, fines and imprisonment for violations of increasingly thorny, convoluted, incomprehensible statutes.

FT: True –– or so it certainly seems. That may not have been the intent, but it certainly has been the result of far too many of the things they have done.

77. Liberals do everything possible to make people forget what freedom truly means, which is why their minions in the Education and Publishing Industries continually indulge in historical revisionism.

FT: True –– but again not strictly so. From the conservative point of view, however, that appears to be the case more often than not. The difference between what schools teach today as opposed to sixty years ago is acute and profoundly disturbing to those of us who can still remember the past.

78. Liberals attempt to pass laws to force everyone to adopt mass conformity to whatever version of a "New Deal" may be currently in vogue.

FT: True.

79. Liberals expect you never to question their authority.

FT: False. They don't expect it, but they certainly would prefer it. But then, wouldn't we all if given our druthers?

80. Liberals would like to turn us into a menacing Police State not unlike that of the Third Reich or the Soviet Union where the police are greatly feared and act as a para-military arm of the Central Government and have the power to deprive you of your liberty at will.

FT: False, yet true as well. Few liberals would like that to happen, I suspect, but then few realize that the Totalitarian State would be the inevitable, ineluctable result if their policies are fully implemented.

Part Three of Five

THE ANTI-LIBERAL LIST

Broken Down into Five Parts

Twenty Statements Each

Another  face of liberalism

[When first presented we recommend treating this as a TRUE and FALSE Quiz, then asked for elaboration on any point or points in particular.  Now we’re revealing answers of our own to which you are invited to respond as fully and furiously as you like.   ~ FT]

41. Liberals hide true violent crime statistics of unarmed population centers.

FT: False –– probably. They do seem to have the tendency to "soft pedal" such information, however.

42. Liberals hope one day to outlaw all hunting and fishing.

FT: False –– probably. Only animal rights extremists like PETA are undoubtedly hoping for that.

43. Liberals strongly disapprove of so-called "Preppers" and "Survivalists," because they would prefer to see EVERYONE assemble in miles-long columns waiting interminably to receive whatever crumbs FEMA chooses to hand out after disaster strikes.

FT: True –– or so it seems. Liberals would like to see as many people as possible helpless and totally dependent on the government.

44. Liberals would prefer the majority to behave like insect drones –– mindless, useless members of a Human Hive controlled by a liberal Queen Bee.

FT: True –– possibly. If not, their aims and objectives certainly give that impression to those of us who resist authoritarianism, even in it's supposedly more "benevolent" guises.

45. Liberals would like to classify any recognition and criticism of flawed behavior on the part of members of any particular race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, or identifiable minority as a Hate Crime.

FT: True.

46. Liberals feel more pity for the serial rapist with AIDS than for his victims.

FT: False! What hyperbolic nonsense!

47. Liberals are either absolute control freaks, or absolute wimps with no will, no spirit and no ideas of their own willing at all times to receive their marching orders from Big Brother or Big Nanny.

FT: False. A ridiculous overstatement, but I can understand why some might subscribe to such a view. Liberal generally do advocate mass conformity to THEIR dictates.

48. Liberals tend to regard mavericks –– those independent individuals with characteristics that set them apart from the herd –– as"persons of interest" and potential "Enemies of The State."

FT: True –– at least partially. Once again liberals want everyone to conform, unless of course you are Act Up or Code Pink, or OWS or PETA, etc. Liberals just don't want to see anyone oppose THEM.

49. Liberals want the country to function on the proceeds from the moral equivalent of  ever-mounting credit card debt.

FT: True!

50. Liberals have managed to turn the process of transforming ourselves from a Creditor to a Debtor Nation into an Art.

FT: True! Remember that lots and lots of Republicans are fiscal liberals.

51. Liberals would rather have us buy cheap junk from the Red Chinese than high quality goods made in the U.S.A. Why? Because liberal policies towards greedy, thuggish Labor Unions have effectively priced American Labor and American-made products virtually out of existence.

FT: True and not so true. I doubt if liberals have thought far enough to realize their policies regarding Labor and their fiscal policies in general have simply made the Chinese Junk Epidemic an inevitability.  However, the result is the same any way you slice it.

52. Liberals nickel and dime you to death.

FT: False! They're killing us with untold TRILLIONS of dollars worth of ever-increasing debt –– with far too much compliance and cooperation from Republicans.

53. Liberals tend to be dour, humorless, captious, deadly serious, highly volatile, and hyper-critical.

FT: True!

54. Liberals tend to feel thrilled at the prospect of abominations like; higher taxes, gun control, more restrictions, bigger government, and Barack Obama.

FT: True! I don't know about "thrilled," but they certainly do tend to support all of that with a semblance of enthusiasm.

55. Liberals are wonderful at censoring anything they don't like.

FT: False, They're not good at it yet, but they'd like to be, and they're getting better at it all the time.

56. Liberals would tax every breath of air you take, if they could find a way to do it.

FT: True! They'd tax our hair and fingernail clippings too –– and doubtless the contents of our dustbins too by weight and volume ––, if they could find a way to keep track of it all.

57. Liberals tend to be wet blankets; they take the fun out of everything.

FT: True. If not it certainly seems that way. To them every light-hearted quip demonstrates flippant disregard and insensitivity towards a serious matter.

58. Liberals raise their children to have no higher ambition than learning how to work the system to get as much support from welfare programs as they possibly can.

FT: False! They want their children to grow up to design and administer those programs.

59. Liberals favor two occupations: Trial Lawyers and Taxing Authorities.

FT: False. Many of them are college professors, working stiffs, entertainers  and "artists."

60. Liberals have a very high opinion of themselves,  carry themselves around with an insufferable air of moral superiority.

FT: True –– at least in far too many instances. However, many of them can be perfectly charming –– even adorable –– if you can prevent them from talking politics.

Part Two of Five

THE ANTI-LIBERAL LIST

Broken Down into Five Parts

Twenty Statements Each

One of the many faces of liberalism

[When first presented we recommend treating this as a TRUE and FALSE Quiz, then asked for elaboration on any point or points in particular.  Now we’re revealing answers of our own to which you are invited to respond as fully and furiously as you like.   ~ FT]

21. Liberals would disarm and disband the military, if they could.

FT: False. A tremendous over-simplification.  Instead of disbanding it, liberals would prefer to castrate it –– feminize it –– and turn it into yet another social service organization –– a goal towards which they have already made great strides.

22. Liberals, when talking politics, forget years of friendship and become tediously didactic, and, if left unchecked, will subject you to passionate polemical rhetoric in support of their pet causes. Even at cocktail parties –– they do not hesitate to catechize and badger you with legalistic thinking at the drop of a hat.

FT: True! Perhaps not of all liberals at all times, but certainly true in my personal experience with the New York elite.

23. Liberals blame non-liberals for criminals' acting the way they do.

FT: False. Again that's simplistic nonsense, but a large grain of truth lurks within. The tendency to blame "society" for the bad behavior of underprivileged minorities is great among liberals.

24. Liberals tend to conform blindly to the pseudo ideals with which they've been indoctrinated.

FT: True! They'd be the last to admit it, however, of course.

25. If liberals had a motto it might be: The Government and the Criminals Among Us Are Your Only True Friends.

FT: False!  Liberal candidates, however, do rely heavily on the votes of misfits, miscreants, and malcontents to aid them in winning elections.

26. Liberals would advocate protecting the environment for "The Speckled Flat Tailed Manure Worm" –– or whatever –– even if the policy deprived hundreds of thousands of the currently unemployed from getting jobs.

FT: True –– at least in part. There are many cases where environmentalists have balked the use of privately-owned land for industrial development. The reasoning behind this environmental extremism seems flimsy –– and probably specious –– to the average person.

27. Liberals talk about Civil Rights for everyone, yet defy long held, immensely popular tradition by doing everything possible to balk and thwart overt displays on public property of anything related to Christianity.

FT: True! In the liberal mindset some groups are, indeed, more equal than others, especially when they are members of a minority.

28. Liberals tend always to complain and condemn. They seem arrogant, enraged, condescending and dismissive of opposition.

FT: True! Just listen to them when they get up on a proverbial soapbox, if you don't believe me –– and look into their eyes.

29. Liberals want to place more and more restrictions on what you are able to purchase –– for you own good, and the good of society, of course.

FT: True! It's been a happenin' thing for a long time now.

30. Liberals would like to fine you ever increasing amounts for failure to cooperate with recycling programs.

FT: Dubious! They might like to, but right now it's not practicable, so I wouldn't worry much about it –– yet. The tendency is there, however.

31. Liberals would make an ostentatious display of mourning the execution of a mass murderer, but would not shed so much as a crocodile tear for even one of his many victims.

FT: True –– in the sense that media focus is always on demonstrations of support for convicted killers, and rarely-if-ever on any signs of contrition from perpetrators or empathy for the victims.

32. Liberals use affected catch phases such as "time out" or "time in," normally reserved for toddlers in everyday communication with adults.

FT: False –– probably. I've never heard of such a thing, although liberals tend to use buzzwords and catch phrases compulsively and follow trends with less hesitation than most conservatives.

33. Liberals tend to be cowardly, so they admire and look up to criminals for strength.

FT: False! Sounds like poppycock to me, although popular culture –– a phenomenon largely created, fed and guided by liberals –– tends to glamorize and romanticize gangsters, serial killers, prostitution, infidelity, perverse degenerate behavior in general, and well-known villains. That process started soon after Prohibition.

34. Liberals have a rule when attacked by a criminal: Roll up in a ball and suck your thumb.

FT: False! Rubbish! Nonsense! Balderdash! What liberals want victims to do is drop their drawers , bend over and say, "Come and get it. After you're through you'll find the wife and kids in the attic. GO FOR IT, only please don't hurt me."

35. Liberals want the criminal to sue you, if you defend yourself in any way that hurts the criminal, physically –– or even psychologically.

FT: True and False. It's not so much that they want victims to be sued, but they have a passionate belief that criminals –– even violent ones –– have legal rights that must be respected at all costs.

36. Liberals would encourage you to hug everyone in sight, even when you have the flu.

FT: False. An embarrassingly stupid remark.

37. Liberals are well known for pushing themselves into your space, getting in your face, and lecturing or badgering you about issues they think ought to concern you. They are famous for doing this at inappropriate times such as cocktail and dinner parties.

FT: True! True! True! True! TRUE!

38. Liberals want to force every available vaccination upon you –– even against pathogens you are in no danger of catching.

FT: False –– probably. I have not heard of this, myself, but I am aware that liberals push for conformity to the medical orthodoxies of our time. Liberals do not believe you ought to be allowed to think for yourself, particularly on matters where you have not earned a college degree or an official certificate of professional expertise.

39. Liberals want to outlaw toy plastic guns of all types for children, because they think it teaches them to act violently.

FT: True –– probably. There have been enough cases of Kindergartners being suspended from school simply for pointing an index finger and saying "Bang Bang! You're dead!" to warrant this belief.

40. Liberals claim to hate bullies, yet they fully encourage outrageous bullying by The State against those who publicly advocate and promote policies held in contempt by liberals –– or oppose liberals espouse.

FT: True! Liberals never seem to realize that The Authoritarian-Totalitarian State is the most fearsome bully imaginable.

Part One of Five

THE ANTI-LIBERAL LIST

Broken Down into Five Parts

Twenty Statements Each

One of liberalism's many faces

[When first presented we recommend treating this as a TRUE and FALSE Quiz, then asked for elaboration on any point or points in particular.  Today we start to reveal answers of our own on which you are invited to comment.   ~ FT]

1. Liberals want to suffocate you with ever increasing laws and regulations.

FT: True and False both. That may not be their primary intention, but their efforts produce results that certainly feel that could be the case.

2. Liberals care more about the criminals than the victims of crime.

FT: True and False both. The move to treat prisoners more humanely started out as a good thing, but it's gone much too far.

3. Liberals want to imprison someone defending himself longer than the criminal who commits the crime.

FT: False. Although the idea of prosecuting anyone for defending him, her, or itself from attack of any kind seems absurd. In every case the attacker is to blame.

4. Liberals detest free thought and are extremely narrow minded.

FT: So it would seem –– to conservatives –– but liberals would say the same of us, so it's a stalemate.

5. Liberals want NO ONE to be able to defend himself with any weapon at all.

FT: False. That's much too broad a statement.

6. Liberals will lawyer you to death.

FT: True. It could easily be said they have literally sued their way to ascendancy.

7. Liberals hate ALL firearms and guns, stun devices, pepper sprays, knives, any type of self defense.

FT: False. They don't mind your having those devices –– in quantities and degrees of quality they monitor and tightly control –– they just don't want you to use them.

8. Liberals are extremely stupid and have no desire not to be stupid.

FT: False. That in itself is an incredibly stupid assertion. Liberals are among the smartest people in the world. If you don't believe it, just ask them.

9. Liberals want to circumvent and subvert the U.S. Constitution.

FT: True mostly. Liberals see the Constitution largely as roadblock to their march towards "Progress." They love it, however, when they can find a way to use quotations from it to further their aims and ambitions.

10. Liberals would enforce Political Correctness as though it were the law of the land.

FT: True. They have already made many giant steps in that direction.

11. Liberals are some of the biggest hypocrites in public life.

FT: True –– especially of some of the most prominent liberals, but not of the rank and file most of whom are either True Believers or who cynically support The Nanny State as their ticket to free lunches and free rides forever.

12. Liberals respect the First Amendment only when speaking THEIR views.

FT: True. If not true, it certainly looks that way.

13. Liberals believe that a liberal government ALWAYS knows what's best for everyone.

FT: True. If they didn't believe that, they wouldn't be liberals, but it doesn't matter much, because conservatives think the same thing.

14. Liberals are taxing citizens at higher rates than most kings of the past have ever done.

FT: Maybe true –– maybe false. We need Finntann to give us reliable statistics on that. Personally, I suspect it is true.

15. Liberals want everyone to follow every mindless trend or fad.

FT: False. As brainless a sweeping statement as any I've heard.

16. Liberals talk compassion for victims, yet would gladly create a multitude of victims by taking away our means self defense.

FT: Generally false, but partially true. Their compassion for victims is often bogus. Liberals love to use the tragedies and serious problems of victim groups to aggrandize their political power. Guns are not that important. Creating and perpetuating an ever increasing number of welfare dependents is at the heart of their ambitions.

17. Liberals are some of the most superficial individuals alive.

FT: False and very stupidly so. Many of the most brilliantly creative, enterprising, highly successful people are liberals.

18. Liberals want a constitution with one rule only: OBEY the GOVERNMENT.

FT: False. A vast over-simplification. It is true, however, that liberals favor and demand obedience and submission to their precepts and dictates as much as any fascist ever did.

19. Liberals look at life and society from a very narrow perspective.

FT: True and false. That could be said of any identifiable faction, minority or splinter group. Magnanimity has always been in short supply.

20. Liberals present myriad solutions to problems that don’t work, because liberals know so many things that aren't true.

FT: True. The near-quote from Ronald Reagan holds much validity. Liberals will never admit their "solutions" don't work, however, they will just tell you their methods haven't been tried well enough or long enough to prove their efficacy.

This is the first in a five-part series.

Tomorrow we shall examine the next twenty assertions

from Sunday's list of One-Hundred Reasons

Why You Should Hate Liberals.
