Is there are a Spike Jones version of Goody Goody, Jersey? If so, I'll add it to the pile later. I am a RABID fan of Spike Jones who entertained me royally –– in my CRIB –– when I was just a wee bairn and Spike was a young hotshot new on the scene.

Ella really was THE greatest, Jersey. I'd forgotten what a luscious babe Peggy Lee was in her heyday, {FYI: I went to school with her niece at the Avery Coonley School in Downer's Grove, Illinois. Peggy Lee's sister was a nice plump matronly women. You'd never have connected the two, unless you knew. "FEVER" was brand new at the time, and played incessantly in every radio station in Chicagoland. Those really WERE the days! I was in eighth grade, can you believe it? ;-] I've aways respected Peggy as an absolutely UNIQUE song stylist. A true American Original.
