Christmas Day
A Choral Fantasy of Yuletide Carols

Gustav Holst

What do you hear that makes each one seem different?
Which one do you like most?

  1. I like the Mormons, best. They're a bit more "sprightly"... ;)

  3. I find it hard to choose.

A few observations: a bit of screeching sopranos in the first one.

I've heard the Mormon Tabernacle version here many times. Certainly joyful!

As for the second one, I LOVE it. One of its biggest assets is the clarity of diction.
