The GREAT Judy Garland! We lost her way too early.
I've aways hoped that it really was "all so peaceful on the Other Side," for Judy Garland. She was a tremendous talent who was hideously exploited and abused from childhood on. I've always regarded her as one of our National Treasures, but all the joy and pleasure she gave came at too great a cost –– to her. Who knows what long-term wonders she might have produced if she'd been permitted to live a more normal life?
