Please spare us the BROADSIDES,

The ANTI-HILLARY

The Definition of a Lady

She doesn't shout. She doesn't pout.
She dares to dream, but doesn't scheme.
She doesn't lie. She doesn't cry.
She doesn't whine. She doesn't pine.
She doesn't simper. She doesn't whimper.
She doesn't accuse. She doesn't excuse.
She doesn't seem to have an axe to grind.
In short she's really a great find.
How could we all not love her
Knowing no one sits above her,
And all her fast-diminishing kind?

  1. Funny graphic! She'll likely not take up any of Trump's policy positions, of course.

BTW, Hillary just cut short her vacation in the Hamptons to get back to the campaign trail. Clearly she is concerned about the crowds flocking to Trump and, more to the point, Sanders. Not to mention that it looks as if Biden may be getting ready to run for the nomination.

    1. I have to admit that famous "tonsorial arrangement" is more flattering to Her Heinous than it is to The Donald.

IF she were anywhere near as smart as her proponents have tried to make us believe, Hillary would CO-OPT Trump's "look" and wear it sedately without saying a word about it.

Fortunately, she and her "handlers" haven't enough wit among them to enact such a clever ploy.

Her essential dullness and complete lack of wit, style, grace, humor and good looks SHOULD sink her candidacy as much or more than her pathological penchant for perennial prevarication.

BUT the MACHINE wants her, and I'm very much afraid the Machine has become virtually Omnipotent.

I have a theory. The farther right you guys go, the more you demand, the more operate with your ideology, the more you ignore reality and insanely insist we're becoming a socialist state like something out of Dostoevsky, the greater the eventual reaction will be. We should only wish we could have a guy like Sanders, because in the future we may get something that really makes you shudder - makes us all shudder. The fact that Donald Trump is polling 25% among Republicans means the modern American conservative movement is not only not modern anymore, it is like dead language with people just making up new words and pretending it is still alive. And the fact that Donald Trump polls 25% among Republicans means we better be more mature, realistic and careful with our rhetoric.

    3. Okay, Jersey, you're RIGHT. We SHOULD be more careful with our rhetoric. Let's start with you. I think you would communicate more effectively, if you quit using polarizing terminology like "you cons, you guys, you people, you clowns, you idiots, you morons," etc. as started using WE instead. Why? because, whether you like it or not, ALL of us are citizens with the guaranteed right to live and pursue happiness" as we see fit.

Socialism is not compatible with our Constitution, however, because it's insistence on EQUALITY of OUTCOME is dead set against the INDIVIDUAL'S right to fulfill his destiny as he sees fit.

Socialism may be voted in through the democratic process, but it ALWAYS ends up being enforced by AUTHORITARIAN-TOTALITARIAN regimes. It is therefore, quintessentially ANTI-AMERICAN, and in my opinion has no right to exist except to be STUDIED as an academic THEORY long ago proven faulty and unworkable by the bitter experience of the millions who've struggled under its oppressive yolk.

I think her time is coming to an end, or has already ended . She was almost frantic at that presser where she wore her orange pantsuit. Throwing her hands up in the air as she walks away from the press.

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wassermann Schultz. What will historians make of this rouge's gallery? How deep must the corruption be that these hacks are running the democratic party, and our country, and we get RID of them all? How can the media continue to act like Hillary is a legitimate presidential candidate? How can smart people in New York, Chicago, and LA look at these flakes and not question their party allegiance, or their love for America ? One of the biggest mistakes Republicans make is to ignore the behavior of these people. 2. The DREAM Act has failed to pass any Congress since the 2001 introduction of that act.

I see several good aspects to the DREAM act. However, we also read this:

If these requirements are not fulfilled the conditional resident will lose their legal status and be subject to deportation -- something which I fully support, but which many bleeding hearts apparently can't support.

      Criticism of the DREAM Act:

Opponents of the DREAM Act argue that it encourages and rewards illegal immigration, acting as a "magnet" attracting more illegal immigrants and creating a chain migration by family members.[49] The Center for Immigration Studies, a nonpartisan,[50] politically conservative[51] think tank, has raised concerns that it would admit individuals who have already formed their identities overseas (i.e. people who arrived up to age 16), that illegal immigrants up to age 35 are allowed to obtain legal residence through it,[52] that it would result in massive fraud similar to the 1986 amnesty, that it will encourage additional illegal immigration,[53] and that it will shield gang members from deportation.[54]

IMO, there is some validity to that criticism.

With all respect, I still maintain that the law does matter. After all, it is the law that protects our right to our private property. That is a One-Size-Fits-All edict of sorts.

We have to decide this as a nation: Shall we be a nation with citizens who contribute to our robust economy -- or not?

Immigration and naturalization should be selective. At the same time, the opportunities for American citizens (born here of legal parents) must be protected. Citizens first! We cannot and should not take in the whole world.

    6. Yes, AOW, but you know as well as I that legislators who were brought up to RESPECT the Bible and the best aspects of Western Culture and the Christian Tradition would strive to INFUSE civil and criminal law with the utterly benign SPIRIT of biblical principles.

Once upon a time this went without saying. Our Founders may been "deists," but they RESPECTED Christian Principles, and were in fact GUIDED by a logical, decidedly humanistic interpretation of Divine Law.

The Enlightenment was in effect a SECOND REFORMATION. It was NOT, as too many mischievous "intellectuals" today would insist, intended to REPLACE Christianity with the Rule of Reason. Instead it mean to INTERPRET and enhance the credibility of Christianity with the USE of Reason.

Since the arrival of atheistic Jewish intellectuals, our system has been PERVERTED and SUBVERTED by ALIEN ideologies tat have dpne incalculable harm.

IF we are ever to correct this, however, it cannot be accomplished through PERSECUTION. The Nazi's, the Bolsheiviks, and Mao tse Dung tried that, and look where it led.

  16. THE AOW IMMIGRATION PLAN (IN THIS ORDER)

    1. Slam the border shut -- tight as a drum. Anyone crossing the border after it's slammed shut is automatically ineligible for the DREAM ACt.

    2. End birthright citizenship.

    3. Deport illegal immigrants with any kind of criminal record -- along with their children.

    4. Put the DREAM Act in force:

    Requirements for conditional resident status[2]

person must have proof that they entered United States before the age of 16 and must have continuously lived in the country for at least 5 years

must have graduated from a United States high school or obtained a GED

    person demonstrates good moral character

pass criminal background checks and reviews

After having obtained and held conditional resident status, permanent residency may be granted if the following requirements have been met in a period of six years.

    Requirements for permanent residency[3]

have attended an institution of higher learning or served in the United States military for at least 2 years and if discharged, have received an honorable discharge

pass another series of background checks

continue to demonstrate good moral character

    5. Put in place individual sponsorship as I mentioned in an earlier comment in this thread. Individual sponsorship could be used only for illegals who are already here before the border slams shut.

The fiery Mark Levin insisted the other night that "under the jurisdiction of the USA" does NOT conform to what-has-become-in-his-view a popular misconception.

Your accurate statement that American Indians were NOT granted citizenship under the 14th Amendment, but only later –– in 1924, I believe, –– by a special law passed by Congress gives a great deal of credence to the position that the 14th Amendment did NOT intend to grant automatic American citizenship to every human baby that happened to pop out of its mother's womb on OUR shores.

  24. Agreed. We need real solutions to the immigration problems. One solution was the Dream Act, which would have been a small step in addressing the thousands of children and young adults who were brought here as babies and toddlers by their undocumented parents. The D.A. spelled out very specific conditions that the young adults would have to conform to in order to earn citizenship. IIRC, they had to have stayed in school, graduated, not have a police record, among other requirements. These young adults know no other country but this one to which they were brought and where they grew up. They are culturally American, and Congress should have made the small step in granting them citizenship if they fulfilled all the requirements set out in the Act. Congress abandoned them, and now they are still in limbo, facing an uncertain future. What does it say about our political system that we can't solve our man-made problems?

    1. Of course they do, please don't be silly. ALL lives matter, even that of the perpetrator in this horrific incident.

However, why inject an IRRELEVANCY into a thread about much larger issues?

  28. Trump: The Politician of Hatred:

DONALD TRUMP’S rapidly expanding catalogue of bombast is already a weighty tome, and it’s a fool’s errand to take each of his utterances seriously. Still, his loathsome comment on Wednesday, in which he excused violence against a Hispanic man in Boston as “passionate” acts of “people who are following me,” taps into a dark vein in American history and merits special attention.

In the Boston incident, two brothers were charged with using a metal pole to assault a 58-year-old Hispanic man. The man, who was homeless, was left with a broken nose and other injuries to his face, arms and chest. “Donald Trump was right, all these illegals need to be deported,” one of the brothers, Scott Leader, told police, the Boston Globe reported.

When Mr. Trump was told of the incident, in which the brothers also are alleged to have urinated on the man before beating him, he said the following: “It would be a shame. . . . I will say that people who are following me are very passionate. They love this country and they want this country to be great again. They are passionate.”
    [...]
The truth is that Mr. Trump deliberately whips up popular rage for political advantage. By spewing hatred on the stump, Mr. Trump encourages it in the bleachers and on the streets, then sanctions it when it occurs. Remember: He also minimized the death threats Ms. Kelly received after his dustup with her, telling the Hollywood Reporter, “I’m sure they don’t mean that,” then pivoting to stress his “respect for the people that like me.”

    1. This sort of twisted, distorted, lop-sided interpretation of a single shameful event is trying to tell us these stupid Boston Thugs would never have committed violence if they had not been directly "inspired" by the "hate rhetoric" of Donald Trump –– that Trump irresponsibly uses his quasi-magical powers of persuasion to turn good boys into monsters.

This is precisely what I loathe and despise about the Left –––– the way leftists EXPLOIT tragic examples of human frailty, stupidity, hostility and rage as a WEDGE to GAIN LEVERAGE. Leftists cynically create further division and misdirect public opinion in order to gain PARTISAN POLITICAL ADVANTAGE.

The high toned erudite phrases in the preceding post are little but a MASK for the BASENESS snd INTELLECTUAL THUGGERY that lurks a in CALLOUS, DECEITFUL, POWER HUNGRY heart.

That said, I, myself, feel that Mr. Trump has within him all the makings of a first-class demagogue, and do not believe he will win the Republican nomination, because conservative leaders generally eschew lamentable practices the Left ardently embraces.

  30. I’m so pissed at these, PC Liberal/Democratic politicians, that I’d vote for Sarah Palin before any of those limp noodle politicians like Joe Biden and especially Hillary Clinton !

  31. Always follow the money…More important, where it came from.

I like Trump, and Ted Cruz is a close second. With a net worth of four billion dollars that didn’t come from politicians he doesn’t own them a dime or a favor. So ‘Cronyism’ is out of the picture with him.
Why any man worth that kind of money would want to be president of now one of the most screwed up countries in the world is beyond me.
He says he want’s to make this country great again so I have to take him at his word.
He sure has stirred up the pot if nothing else at this point.. And I think that the also ran guys are not going anywhere, and neither is Hillary for that matter.
