  1. Yeah, the "coverage" on cable news is getting nauseating. So, just indict the piece of crap policeman/executioner, give him a speedy trial, and when found guilty of manslaughter or 2'nd degree murder, my choice, sentence him to the maximum the law allows.

Sh*t in a law enforcement uniform is still sh*t.

  2. Why are these Black Goons in Ferguson marching and holding upside down flags?
I guess you have to be very stupid if you can't figure it out.
A thug was stupid enough to charge a police officer was shot. That doesn't justify the looting and violence.

This country has bent over backwards to give blacks a chance at the American dream, and yet that's still not enough for some of these savages.
Oh I forgot!!!!! I guess it's still a pay back for slavery...

  3. Yesterday, I read conflicting interpretations of two autopsies performed.

Eric Holder has ordered yet another autopsy.

At one point in the past NINE days, I read this Tweet: "Let's move the looting to Dellwood."

Not "move the protests" -- "move the looting"!

Dellwood is a neighboring town with some 80% black residents and businesses. As of yesterday, the Dellwood Market had been looted at least twice.

This morning, I read this: Michael Brown Bumrushing Policemen When He Was Shot? Next Stop for Media, "Why Do Our Young Black Males Feel They Have Nothing To Live For?".

Now, take a look at this photo essay. How will Ferguson recover economically?

  4. Now there's ncoming to the conclusion the cop did nothing wrong in this particular instance. I'm reminded of how street cops would retire forty years ago after a career of patrolling some fairly violent areas and brag at their retirement parties of never pulling their gun while on patrol.
ew testimony that Michael Brown indeed "charged" at the cop..

  5. From CNN, this detail which I hadn't heard before:

...[The officer who shot Michael Brown] was briefly taken to the hospital after the confrontation with Brown for treatment of an injury that left his face swollen, according to the Ferguson police chief....

  6. Finally found the information I was looking for this morning:

Preliminary Autopsy Seems To Indicate Brown’s Hands Were NOT Up When Shot In Arm.

If the above is an accurate interpretation, what purpose has all this mayhem in Ferguson served?

  7. Good find AOW, and as for Obama sending Eric Holder to Ferguson, what the hell is he going to do except stir up the savages!
Obama is such a Clown, what a sick bastard he is ! Who with a brain would vote for that jerk TWICE? (Besides people who want "Free Stuff").
Someone needs to ask the world- Are you better off today as a result of Obama being elected twice in America?

  8. LOOK at the video, and LOOK at the video in that Convenience store where he this 6 foot 5" 300 pound THUG assaulted the 5 foot store clerk!
And what do you see? I see a f--king criminal thug who hates authority, has no respect for others and who is quite capable of trying to charge and kill a cop by beating the man to death.

This is one thug who would serve society better in the form of compost.
And this is the THUG that these bleeding Heart Progressives are defending!
"RACIST"? Yeah you bet they are "racist"!!

This f--king criminal thug who hates authority was CHARGING the police and I don’t care what that LYING Micheal Baden says, he was NOT shot in the back.

The character of the police dept had been dragged through the mud, and that's why the video was released. They wanted the public to see that there was more to the story than the "gentle giant" story that was constantly being portrayed. By releasing the video, it immediately changed the theme, and allowed the police dept at least some benefit of the doubt.
These Savages who are “protesting” or LOOTING in the streets were not willing to wait for the investigation, they wanted blood, and once groups like the New Black Panthers showed up, the mob mentality would have unleashed a death sentence on this officer and his family.
And now Hussein Obama is sending Eric Holder to Ferguson to "assess" the situation. Hell, that corrupt idiot is as bad as the looters.

Holder also is ordering his own autopsy. That stinks to high heaven. Micheal Baden is the forensic pathologist for sale!

  9. Video released by the Ferguson Police Department from surveillance video that appear to show a confrontation at a convenience store. Police say Michael Brown allegedly participated in a strong armed robbery at the store.

The death of an unarmed young man by firearm should give us all pause. Six shots hit, with one penetrating the head at the top. You all figure it out. At the very least review all the facts, be willing to rethink prior opinion as more FACTS emerge. And for christ sake keep an active mind.

  12. Who would vote for Obama twice besides people who "want free stuff?"

I'll tell you who. WHITE Marxian-Fabian-Socialist-Liberal-Progressive-Democrat-Statists many of whom are leading members of what is laughingly known as "The Intelligentsia." The Professoriat, the Journalists, the Punditz, some-but-no-longer-all Unionists, 99.44% of Hollywood, Pop MEW-SICK "artists" and their Promoters, the TV Industry, the Latinos, the Indians, most who fall into the regrettable category known as Trailer Trash, lots, and lots, and LOTS of angry, bitter, disappointed, disenchanted, desperately unattractive, or naturally officious, highly politicized WHITE WOMEN -- aka "The FRIEDANETZ," and of course all the Citizens of Cemeteries far and wide whose names corrupt Democratic operatives can manage to stuff into whatever passes for a ballot box today.

In case you haven't noticed the country has been BALKANIZED. We are no longer The UNITED States of America. We've been manipulated by the Enemdia, the corrupt congress, Leftist Judges, and the unionized "Marxianic" EDUCRATZ into becoming The DISUNITED DISPARATE FACTIONALIZED STATES of AMERIKA.

  13. There is no innocent till proven guilty when the President of the United States, and the Attorney General keep making comments that condemn the police officer in this case. The facts do not support the original claim that the man was running away, nor that he got on his knees and raised his hands. Yet our Government is intent on making it that way.
What we have here is Reverse Racism at it's finest! No doubt about it especially since Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, and Obama are involved. Remember, "The police acted stupidly", Obama doesn't care about facts.
We have evidence the police officer tried to wound the “300 pound Thug” and when that failed, he shot to kill. We also have evidence that the perp "savage" attacked the officer and that he charged at him when out of the car. We have evidence that prove most of the supposed eye witnesses lied to investigators about what happened. yet Obama and Holder do not care. So much for Obama style Justice.
Facts are stubborn things, but statistics are more pliable! And we see both here.

    ReplyDelete
  14. And Les is right about one thing at least. This RUSH to JUDGMENT on BOTH sides is DEPLORABLE as is the use of vehement, highly charged rhetoric whether it comes from the Right OR the Left.

In TRUTH we simply DO NOT REALLY KNOW what happened in Ferguson, and have NO RIGHT to condemn and demand harsh punishment for ANYONE involved.

I HEARD Michael Baden last night, and his findings, thus far, [the investigation is by no means yet complete] are INCONCLUSIVE with ONE notable exception. MICHAEL BROWN was NOT SHOT in the BACK.

That was a DAMNABLE LIE asserted by "someone" pretending to be an eye witness. It was quickly echoed by others in the "Black Camp," of course, who wanted to USE this unfortunate incident to start a RACE RIOT.

[NOTE: One needs not be BLACK to be in "The Black Camp."]

Said the man who rushed to call the police officer in question a "piece of crap" and to also call for his quick conviction.

Here's a quick primer for those of you who have had no police or military training.

Once you identify someone as a threat that your protocols/rules of engagement dictate the use of deadly force, you shoot until the person goes down. It could take one shot or it could take 13.

I am not saying the cop is not guilty, just adding some info to the mix.

Bottom line: We don't have enough evidence yet to make a definitive judgment.

No wonder the whole world is losing respect for America. And it’s no wonder that American has become so racist since Obama has taken office. Obama and his cronies like Eric Holder have sent race relations back 150 years and they are proud of that accomplishment.

  20. Silver Fiddle is absolutely right. Thanks for weighing in, Kurt.

I think, however, our friend Les was probably being sarcastic and did not mean to be taken literally when he called the officer "a piece of crap" and an "executioner," weren't you, Les?

That, of course, is how the factionalized "Blacks" -- i.e. followers of Sharpton, Jackson, Holder, the Boston Reds ;-) and all the other members of The Great American Race-Baiting Industry would have us regard Officer Darren Whatisname.

Reason may only be The Slave of Passion, but nevertheless it is REASON that MUST prevail or things will just continue to unravel until we find ourselves in the middle of an Honest-to-God RACE WAR.

A conflict in which everyone will be a loser, except the Leftists who've been trying for many decades to bring it about, so THEY will be able to charge in upon the smoldering embers of our once-thriving Civilization, and TAKE OVER ONCE and FOR ALL.

Unbiased? Probably not. But note the following:

In the last 24 hours we’ve noticed a visible shift in the narrative, and essentially if you read between the lines you might find some interesting plans in the works. Two reports stick out as interesting parallel dynamics....

  26. After reading all the fact of this case that I was able to, and viewing the videos that are available, this ois the conclusion that I have come to.. Brown was shot during a struggle with the officer as there have been reports that he was “charging “ him head down like a Bull (thus the bullets in his head) trying to get to the officer’s gun. But, facts may be facts, but facts don’t matter to these liberal race baiters and to race hustlers like Al Sharpie Sharpton and those people (and I use the term “people” loosely) who are just out to rob, loot, steal, hurt others, and burn down property. They are the ones who are jumping to conclusions and reacting in ways that are both inappropriate and dangerous.
And Obama is sending the Attorney General down there to interfere.
The community has gone so wild that one would think they are in a war-torn area. People are rioting, looting, stealing, burning down business, destroying personal property, shooting at police and news helicopters, and threatening the lives and property of others. The shakedown artist himself, Al Sharpton, is on his way to do his shakedown artist act before the camera with a list of demands. Mind you, he is not demanding that the community calm down, act rationale, and stop the violence. No, he is demanding vigilante justice before all the facts are in.
Remember Obama saying “I have to be very careful about not prejudging events before these investigations are completed, because these are issues of local jurisdiction.”
Remember Henry Louis Gates? Remember Trayvon Martin? Remember where the President prejudged so stupidly.

Officer Darren Wilson Suffered “Orbital Blowout Fracture to Eye Socket” During Mike Brown Attack...The Gateway Pundit can now confirm from two local St. Louis sources that police Officer Darren Wilson suffered facial fractures during his confrontation with deceased 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Wilson clearly feared for his life during the incident that led to the shooting death of Brown. This was after Michael Brown and his accomplice Dorian Johnson robbed a local Ferguson convenience store. Local St. Louis sources said Wilson suffered an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket.” This comes from a source within the District Attorney’s office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police.

As I have previously emphasized, we don't know what we don't know. The grand jury may convene this week.

There should not be rush to judgment by those on opposite sides in this matter of the shooting of Michael Brown.

I did notice something a bit odd today: CNN has now removed the Ferguson tab from the CNN home page on the web. That change may or may not indicate something, but, clearly, there was lots of mayhem in Ferguson last night. Typically, CNN beats a story to death as long as possible!

  42. 1. No one outside of a select group has "the facts", what you have are news stories designed to appeal to their target audience (left or right)and sell the most copy or generate the most hits. If you think you can critically judge the officer to be a piece of sh*t or the dead boy to be a thug you are making that judgement from your own internal bias or based on the bias of others, perhaps a bit of both.

    2. SF is absolutely right about the shooting. You are trained: A. always double tap (fire in pairs).
    B. always aim for the center of mass.
    C. keep firing until the threat is eliminated (i.e goes down).
    D. you shoot to disable ,not kill... In that order, D unfortunately is contradicted by rule B.

    3. Conjecture: Four shots to the arm will not stop a subject, they may however spin the subject off balance causing him to fall and the head to pass through the aim point of center of mass. The autopsies, from what I've read (note: not a fact), already determined that the head shots were the last two. Reports also indicated that the two started out 35 feet apart (also not a fact)... please note that the average human can run at 22 feet per second, giving what? Maybe 3 seconds in which all this transpired?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Well, AOW some guy who can have his orbital bone broken and then fire six shots into an unarmed person and then walk calmly around the body for hours without holding his hand to his face or seeking medical treatment is quite something!

As far as I am aware, the state has only released the autopsy report to the prosecutors, any other state information has been leaked.

Healthy respectful disagreement and discussion is good, the type MCT and the other personal attack specialist dropped off is not.

I will wait 24 hours to respond as noted earlier. If you are away and I know it I will wait for your return plus 24 hours.

    Is this acceptable to you?

  62. h dear! Les, PLEASE stop trying to make this blog about YOU. It is NOT. Just stick to the topics and forget how I choose to run the place. That's no one's business but mine.

  64. In today's New York Times:

law enforcement officials say witnesses and forensic analysis have shown that Officer Wilson did sustain an injury during the struggle in the car.

  65. AOW, that information was there, but it certainly got buried deep at the bottom of the article. Also there was no attempt to define or describe the injury in any way. Not very helpful.

Their choosing to publish that dewey-eyed, innocent-looking, pre-adolescent picture of Michael Brown speaks volumes about the infernal bias of the New York Times, who naturally would suppress any information in support of the officer they could get away with obscuring or not presenting at all.

It's a terrible mess, that's for sure. We'll never hear the end of it, unless one of our cities gets nuked or the Golfer-in-Chief -- or Her Heinous -- gets a$$a$$inated, God forbid!

  66. FT,
Sorry that you didn't find the link helpful.

The point is this: if the police officer really was injured quite severely, as some reports today have states, the hospital report will come out during the trial.

If there is a trial. The grand jury may return a no-true-bill verdict. The grand jury, of course, would likely see any hospital report.

  67. Finntann, thanks for coming, and thanks for the substantive suggestions.

I'm glad you enjoyed the graphic -- very simple, if a bit time consuming.

Needless to say, I get a kick out of playing with stock images t see if i can arrange them in some kind of meaningful, unpredictable fashion. A hint of humor never hurts either, especially when dealing with lugubrious subject matter. ;-)
