I was perusing a used book store in a local town about 12 years ago. Hillary's book "It Takes a Village" was on the shelf. I picked it up and flipped to the inside cover. She had signed it.
ReplyDeleteI walked to the cashier and asked for a discount because the book had been marred. He agreed to 50%.
I gave it away to a friend who needed to level a table leg.
True story.

Ted Cruz vs Hilary Clinton. LOL LOL LOL LOL! Democratic landslide. LOL LOL LOL LOL!
ReplyDeleteYep, Hillary is going to run for POTUS in 2016.
ReplyDeleteRecently, she sharply criticized Obama. She's positioning herself as the Dem anti-Obama candidate.
I suspect that she is out for vengeance after he stole the 2008 nomination from her.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're correct, Jerry. We Americans have been so successfully "ignoranticized" by the enemedia and our thoroughly corrupt educational establishment that a small majority have been rendered mentally deficient enough to give full support to the likes of that arrogant, rump-sprung old hag who has been driven by nothing more or less an insatiable hunger for power all her life.
ReplyDeleteIt never ceases to amaze how the nineteenth-century poet Emily Dickinson was able to portray with chilling accuracy and stunning economy so many figures who would come to plague us more than a hundred years after her death.
Hope for Resurrection in Steatopygia*
ReplyDeleteAs Hill'ry passed the magic glass
She caught a glimpse of her fat ass.
"Mirror, thank you," she just said.
“I thought my chances now were dead,
“But you have done me lots of good.
“I see that I must have black blood."
~ Anne Animus

Are you okay, my friend?
ReplyDeleteI am, Andie, thank you for asking. In fact I was told by my doctor this very day that he was so pleased with my "numbers" that I was one of his few model patients.
ReplyDeleteI said, "I expect to see that on a plaque written in gold letters out in the waiting room the next time I come."
;-)
Unfortunately, I finally lost my temper at someone who has been quietly goading me beyond endurance off and on for years in subtly offensive ways. Normally, I wouldn't care, but this person has tried to pretend we are friends when such is not -- and never has been -- the case. It's my fault for being so obtuse as not to recognize what was going on earlier
I've got a good deal of the Pollyanna in me, sorry to say..
So, if I seem a little out of sorts, that's probably it.
Not to worry. Except for the abysmal state of the nation, everything's coming up roses for me right now -- really is.
I wish you were here right now so you could tell me if I needed to move my myriad possessions a little this way or that!
ReplyDeleteI make a mean cup of coffee!
xo
That face really is the stuff that makes nightmares. My God! What have we become?
ReplyDeleteI'm terrified. I see nothing but darkness ahead.
Dolores Triste
Another "Our worst nightmare", I thought it had already occured.
ReplyDeleteBut, since you brought it up, Ctuz/Gohmert 2016. Now THAT is a real nightmare.
Cruz/Gohmert that is.
