Very sadly, SilverFiddle, you are probably correct. Miracles do happen, but rarely and only in far-off, out-of-the-way places like Philadelphia in 1776, or Lourdes and Fatima -- never in the Belly of the Beast of Dialectical Materialism otherwise known as "The Media."

CBS's coverage tonight of the Benghazi scandal was on how leaked quotes from e-mails from Republicans didn't match the actual e-mails....

The "press" started to take control in earnest during the Civil RIghts and Vietnam Protest Era. It exerted its influence full bore and quite literally TOOK OVER OUR LIVES with the success of "Watergate."
I have been continually disgusted ad discouraged at the way today's "conservatives" swallowed the media-generated Watergate Myth about Richard Nixon hook line and sinker.
That has made the ENEMEDIA'S VITORY COMPLETE.
Today's relatively young "Conservatives," despite having good instincts, are relatively clueless as to what has brought us to our present pass.
I am glad I only have a few more years to life at best, and very grateful I never had children.
