Five Serious Questions
Asked and Answered

Thanks to Z and Mustang over at GeeeeeZ for formulating these questions the other day. We thought they were so important they deserved to be featured here.  The answers we have given are intended only as a springboard for further discussion.

1. As a citizen, do you think the United States is moving toward a Marxist state? If not, please try to explain the transformation of the Democratic Party from American liberalism to that of neo-Marxism.

I agree with the body of the post, and have been saying things like it for more years than I care to remember. However, while I use "Marxism" and especially CULTURAL MARXISM all the time, I think it might be more useful to change the terminology since it's so charged with emotion based on deep prejudice on all sides.

Call it what it is:
TYRANNISM. Yes a neologism, but one with roots in rationality. What we are lapsing into with frightening velocity is TYRANNY –– DICTATORSHIP –– DESPOTISM –– TOTALITARIANISM –– the rule of ABSOLUTE POWER.

A hideous thing, but INEVITABLE where the vast majority are so ill-informed as to believe someone in AUTHORITY should determine and chart the course of their lives.

2. Why are so many loathe to call Marxist behavior what it is, and insist on calling it corporatism?

The term MARXISM, as I just said, is so tinged with prejudiced emotionalism that, while accurate, it may no longer be useful.

HOWEVER, these days "Corporatism" or "Crony Capitalism" is very probably the evil phenomenon to beat rather than Marxism
per se.

GLOBALISM is the real culprit in the struggle for dominance. It stands to reason that
the leaders of enormous multi-national corporations, the owners and suppliers of raw materials, and the international bankers who control the money supply would gravitate towards one another and form a POWER BLOC the likes of which the world had never seen before.

The language and professed ideals of MARXISM have been extremely USEFUL to these shadowy moguls in pursuing their secret agenda to achieve ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT under THEIR Corporate-Bankster-quasi-Tyrannist aegis.

3. Why do so many Americans actively support or enable this shift to communist ideology?

As I just tried to indicate, it isn't truly a Communist ideology, but rather an OLIGARCHICAL ELITIST AGENDA to achieve DOMINANCE that we fight.

Nevertheless, USING Marxist terminology such as "Social Justice," "Fairness," and "Equality," has been extraordinarily useful to the Mogul-Oligarchs, who are our
true rulers, because it appeals, as Winston Churchill so eloquently said, to the vast IGNORANCE of most people, the tragic human propensity to feel ENVY, and the equally destructive human desire to wreak VENGEANCE –– to GET EVEN –– with their "oppressors" real and imaginary.

Cultivating HATRED, ENVY, SPITE and MALICE in the rank and file lends tremendous power to those who surreptitiously CHOREOGRAPH and ORCHESTRATE the show for their own, selfish motives.

4. Given the oath taken by all military personnel, politicians, mid-high level bureaucrats, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, why do so many of these people appear nonchalant about the transformation taking place within our beloved America?

Because in taking advantage of the deliberately cultivated IGNORANCE of the populace by a corrupt, suborned EDUCATION INDUSTRY –– it is no longer a "profession" noble or otherwise, it is simply an Arm of an AUTHORITARIAN REGIME –– those in power are capable of taking unfair advantage of their position to AGGRANDIZE and OVERCOMPENSATE THEMSELVES at the PUBLIC'S EXPENSE.

In the world of REALPOLITIK decency, morality, nobility, altruism, high ideals, and
respect for one's fellow creatures is entirely absent.

What we have fallen into in actual fact is a highly sophisticated form of NEO-BARBARISM.

5. Is there anything we can do, as citizens, to prevent the adoption of communism within our culturally unique form of government?

That horse left the barn and galloped off into the sunset more than a hundred years ago. We began our long slide into DESPOTISM when Abraham Lincoln was allowed to get away with his establishment of or First Dictatorship.

That set a precedent and set in motion a deletrious belief that "under certain circumstances" Might Makes Right –– a horrifying perversion of our Founder's True Intent from which we've never truly recovered.

The next BIG STEP toward TYRANNISM, believe it or not was Teddy Roosevelt's usurpation of the right of private property owners in his seizure of vast tracts of land for the purpose of establishing our system of NATIONAL PARKS.

Because we look back at this, and see it as "BENEVOLENT" and "ENLIGHTENED," we have chosen to OVERLOOK and IGNORE the despotic nature of TR's Great Achievement.

All of this really belongs under the heading
"BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR. YOU MIGHT JUST GET IT"

What could we possibly DO to reverse this hundred-year-old trend?

It would be a good idea to start learning who and what our enemies truly are. For that we need to look deeply into
OURSELVES and start examining our OWN motives. It seems fairly obvious to me that we have been SEDUCED into trusting the WRONG people, and possibly we have defamed those who might have done us a power of good given the chance.

If that seems cryptic, so be it. Life is highly COMPLEX. Its challenges do not lend themselves to SIMPLISTIC approaches.

Ambassador Stevens Murdered By Terrorists He Helped Bring To Power

SEPTEMBER 17, 2012

by Doug Book - The Western Center for Journalism

[EDITED and TRUNCATED with EMPHASIS ADDED by FT]

Christopher Stevens, murdered U.S. ambassador to Libya

The enthusiastic celebration of Arab Spring by the American left has at last been repudiated by the gruesome realities of Islamic Jihad. But don’t expect to hear much about this sudden intrusion of brutal fact into the left’s pathetic dabblings in American foreign policy.

Politically embarrassing events such as the failure to protect American diplomats from being murdered and dragged through the streets before cheering throngs rarely make for lasting headlines, especially not when a Democrat president has ignored advance warning of the threat which he more than anyone else was responsible for bringing about.

“Once the US successfully overthrew [Khadaffy] and began focusing on stabilizing Libya, Ambassador Chris Stevens ceased to be a useful idiot and became a useless nuisance.”  This assessment by Frontpage Magazine’s Daniel Greenfield goes directly to the heart of the left’s fantastic belief that becoming best buddies with Islamic terrorists renders American dhimmis immune from a murderous payoff when their services are no longer required.

“Chris Stevens was an avid student of Islam and the Middle East, and consistently strove to build the proverbial bridge between our two cultures in the face of sometimes overwhelming antagonism and bitter misunderstanding,” said a friend of the Ambassador ...

But Greenfield prefers to describe Stevens as “… a Middle Eastern diplomat who typified the new breed going from the University of Berkeley and the Peace Corps to desks in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Syria.” Years of self-delusion about Islam being a religion which befriends those who actively appease its most radical practitioners caused Stevens to rush back to Libya in April of 2011 when the efforts of the “formerly” Muslim President Obama to oust Khadaffy had begun to gather steam.

However, it seems that Stevens succeeded only in offering his diplomatic services to many of the same jihadists who later dragged his corpse through Benghazi streets, all no doubt to the cheers of those members of al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood to whom Obama himself had so thoroughly apologized for the unforgivable religious affronts of the Islamophobic American public.

Many remember the extraordinarily successful appeasement by Jimmy Carter of yet another beacon of the tender mercies of Islamic refinement as the brilliant Georgia peanut farmer betrayed the Shah of Iran in favor of the merciful Ayatollah Khomeini in the Fall of 1979.

Of course the American media refused to blame Dhimmi Carter for the 444 days kidnapped sAmerican spent as “guests” of the new Iranian government, just as today’s ... journalists continue to claim the contents of an obscure 15 minute video to be responsible for Muslim uprisings across the globe. ... [T]hat assaults on the American Embassy in Egypt had been planned before the video was ... known  ... apparently just gets in the way of a good story.

... [U]seful idiots like Chris Stevens will continue to [function] in sufficient numbers to betray ...  American lives and American interests  ... throughout the increasingly barbaric nations of the Middle East. [However] as they continue to advance the farcical notion that “Islamophobic” Americans are somehow responsible for the acts of bestial cruelty practiced for fourteen centuries by the ... worshippers of a cult [that sanctions] “religious” murder, these [deluded individuals] represent an ever increasing danger to the security of the United States ...

Gambling foolishly with their own lives is one thing. Demanding Americans ... share their fate by ignoring [obvious] evidence ... is [another]. It’s time American’s stop following [the leftist march towards] Sharia-mandated extermination.

RESPONSE:

We kind-hearted, well-meaning Westerners always seem to forget about "Takeeya" the practice sanctioned and encouraged by Islam of using deceit to gain an objective. "We" just don't seem to want to believe human beings are capable of the kind of treachery that very sadly appears to be standard operating procedure in the Islamic world.

Another article on the late ambassador that might possibly be of interest. Sorry, you'll need to copy and paste the link:

A U.S. Envoy Who Plunged Into Arab Life

by Steven Erlanger - The New York Times

September 15, 2012

[TRUNCATED with EMPHASIS ADDED by FT]

J. Christopher Stevens, the American ambassador to Libya who was killed in an assault on a diplomatic mission there last week, was happy to gossip, but was revered for listening. A northern Californian with a toothy grin, he had a passion for the Arab world and its language, and he went out of his way to use it, whether with officials or shopkeepers, in an effort to show respect.
In his willingness to allow others to be heard, even when he had an important message to impart, Mr. Stevens was an unusual American diplomat, friends and colleagues say. He allowed himself to be governed by the habits, proprieties and slower pace of the Arab world.

With the State Department on high alert for security threats, especially since the Sept. 11 attacks ... Mr. Stevens plunged into Arab social life. He traded personal risk for personal contact.

His comfort with his environment and his distaste for displays of security, some quietly suggest, may have led to a touch of overconfidence that cost him his life. ...

What the United States lost was not only one of its foremost Arabists, a man who built a bridge to the tribes and militias that toppled the Libyan dictator Khaddafy ... it also may be losing ... a style of diplomacy already on the decline: the street-smart, low-key negotiator who gets things done by building personal relationships.

Mr. Stevens, 52, was known as Chris, but he often signed letters and e-mails to friends as Krees, the way many Arabs pronounced his name. His affection for Arab culture and street life, whether in Syria, Libya or the Palestinian territories, made him many friends and impressive networks of contacts.

Precisely what happened the night he was killed is unclear. But for an American ambassador to have so little security on the anniversary of Sept. 11, especially in a part of Libya known for its radicalism, is bound to raise questions, and in some sense, only adds to the irony of his death in a country he loved, and that for the most part, loved him back as an ally and a friend. ...

American diplomats, given a presentation on the Israeli settlements by the Palestinians, often responded with exasperation ... complaining that the Palestinians didn’t understand how much we do for you behind the scenes with the Israelis. ... Mr. Stevens was different, he would say, ‘Tell me more. Tell me more of what America can do to help and why.”

Mr. Stevens was not above diplomatic gossip, said Mr. Morris, who now blogs for The International Herald Tribune. Recounting the private meeting of Cécilia Sarkozy, then the wife of the French president, with Colonel Qaddafi in 2007 to try to secure the release of some jailed Bulgarian nurses, Mr. Stevens noted that the Libyan leader had opened his robes and was naked underneath. ...

As a diplomat, Mr. Stevens also got very high marks from his superiors. ...

The French writer and activist Bernard-Henri Lévy, who made early contact with the rebels in Benghazi and helped persuade the French to intervene, knew Mr. Stevens then, and related a meeting Mr. Stevens had in April 2011 with Mustafa Abdul Jalil, the chairman of the council. “I was struck by the mix of human warmth and professional diplomacy,” Mr. Lévy said, and “by his great capacity to listen and his strategy to speak last.”

David Welch, a retired senior State Department official, knew Mr. Stevens from a first posting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 1992 and helped promote him. “He was one of the best of his generation,” Mr. Welch said.

Roya Hakakian, an Iranian-born writer who met him then, said that “he displayed the quintessential sunny innocence of Americans.”

Late last year, as Mr. Stevens waited for his confirmation hearings, they met in Washington, she wrote in thedailybeast.com. They spoke about the radicalization of the Libyan opposition and her concern that there would inevitably be a lashing out at the United States. She cited the takeover of the American Embassy in Tehran in 1979 as inevitable, given the revolutionary narrative.

“Chris’s face was unusually flushed as he listened,” Ms. Hakakian wrote. “He was far more hopeful about the future.” He seemed hurt, she said. “Chris had fallen in love with Libya’s revolution. At the end, those very forces whose influence he thought would be curbed had claimed his life.”

FreeThinke’s response:

Obviously just another fatuous, imbecilic, starry-eyed idealist like Danny Pearl and Nicholas Berg so in love with their ardent misperceptions, and so arrogantly cocksure of their foolish beliefs that both lacked even the faintest grasp of reality.

Being a nice guy in a world dominated entirely by fangs and claws is no help to anyone -- least of all oneself.

When you bed down with poisonous snakes and scorpions it's idiotic to imagine you'll wake up to see another day.

Nice guys don't finish last -- they're far more apt to finish early.

Who is This Person Really?

No Marines for Libyan Ambassador, Full Security Detail for Valerie Jarrett's Vineyard Vacation

Leftist activist Jarrett and Our Dear Leader

by Ben Shapiro 14 Sep 2012

From Breibart

Ambassador Chris Stevens did not have a Marine detail in Benghazi, Libya. But White House Senior Advisor and Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett has a full Secret Service detail on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, according to Democratic pollster Pat Caddell.

That’s the pathetic foreign policy of the Obama administration, says Caddell today in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News. “Jarrett seems to have a 24 hour, around the clock detail, with five or six agents full time,” Caddell explains. “The media has been completely uninterested. We don’t provide security for our ambassador in Libya, but she needs a full Secret Service security detail. And nobody thinks there’s anything wrong with this. And nobody in the press will ask. What kind of slavish stoogery are they perpetrating here?

“This country has reached the point of absurdity. There are people dead because we don’t have security details for them. But she’s privileged to have a full Secret Service detail on vacation?”

Caddell points out that Americans are already unhappy with President Obama on foreign policy aside from the killing of Osama Bin Laden. Caddell, along with Republican pollster John McLaughlin, runs Secure America, a nonpartisan advocacy group. “We’ve just finished two polls coming out in the field today,” says Caddell, “but we already know that people feel strongly about Iran; they feel strongly about the administration’s policy with regard to Islamic extremists. They don’t like the Obama administration’s handling of these issues. And this election won’t only be about the economy. The American people aren’t stupid. They can walk and chew gum at the same time.”
Caddell does reserve heavy criticism for the Republican establishment, which he believes has ignored foreign policy issues for far too long. “When three quarters of the American people believe Iran will give nuclear weapons to terrorists, you can see that Americans care about this issue. And people overwhelmingly believe that Obama’s sanctions policies will not work. The pronounced minority who disagree with those positions seem to be centered in the mainstream media – and ground zero seems to be at NBC and MSNBC.”

MY HUSBAND

Thank you, America!

Dear American Taxpayer,
For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country.
I just love being America 's First Lady!

I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my trip to Spain and for my many trips and vacations. I have been so busy with my food policing that I was only able to take one big trip a month.  My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff of 75 and various guests had a wonderful time in Spain.

Honestly, you just haven't lived 'til you've stayed in a private 3-story villa at a 5-Star luxury hotel, the Villa Padierna.
It only cost $95,000, quite reasonable don't you think?  What a bargain!

Thank  you also for the use of Air Force Two and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.  Air Force Two (which costs just $11,351 per hour to operate according to Government Accounting Office reports) only used 47,500 gallons of  jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2.
That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

But hey, Barack’s Air Force One costs about $200,000. per hour to operate and with his many trips, he spent almost half a billion dollars on flights alone last year. Yeah, that’s with a B…  $500,000,000. It would be cheap at twice the price considering all he's accomplished, wouldn't you say?
By the way, if you happen to be visiting the Costa del Sol, I highly recommend the  Buenaventura Plaza restaurant in Marbella; great lobster with rice and oysters!

I'm ashamed to admit the lobsters we ate in Martha's Vineyard were not quite as tasty, but what can you do if you're not in Europe, you have to just grin and bear it.
I  know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. So I do appreciate your sacrifices and do hope you find work soon.

I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago.  I just had to get away for a few days.

Cordially,

Michelle  Obama

Thank you, America!

P.S.  Thank you as well for the $2 BILLION dollar trip to India  from which we just returned!

PPS.  Thank you, too, for that vacation trip to Martha's Vineyard. It was fabulous!  And thanks for that second smaller jet that took our dog Bo to Martha's Vineyard so we and the children could have him with us while we were away from the White House for eleven days.

PPPS. Oh, I almost forgot to say thanks also for our two-week trip to Hawaii at Christmas

That 7,000 square foot house was great!

PPPPS.  We all had a fabulous time in Africa visiting Barack’s homeland too.  What a fabulous place!

PPPPPS. Now the girls and I are back in Africa

with my mom.
Oh, don't forget my ski trip to Vail this winter!

All this while Barack plays golf and campaigns to keep my trips coming for the next four years!
Thanks  America!

Love ya!  Remember, we all have to share the pain of these hard economic times equally

We love to redistribute and share the wealth.
