DeleteI’d be curious as to all of your thoughts on what happened yesterday. We committed to giving up exercises with South Korea effective immediately, and what did North Korea give? Of course we can always turn the exercises on again, and in any clash, someone has to make the first move to compromise, but with a history of promises that have turned out to be meaningless, this doesn’t bode well. Also, the absence of anything about ending the war or Japanese abductees were to me glaring omissions. Maybe the thought is to prioritize denuclearization and get to the other matters later, but I’d rather retrieve live Japanese before the remains of Americans.
What bothered me most was President Trump’s use of the word “provocative“ in reference to the exercises, which comes straight from China’s mouth. They must be ecstatic. I don’t know why he would give them that, especially when the exercises are legitimately defensive.
I went into this very happy, very optimistic, and maybe there is still reason to be so. But NHK World did a retrospective of relations with North Korea, and given the ebb and flow over the decades of making promises and breaking them, I understand why my Japanese friends are so cynical about what’s happening now.

The Singapore summit was a huge win for Trump, the left have no defense other than to spin it negative which makes them look even more petty and sour puss.

The video President Trump has produced for the occasion represent the kind of fresh thinking and different approaches we need from government.
ReplyDeleteEven get a really crappy song stuck in your head? Annoying, you can't think... That is our government: An annoying, distracting, unproductive song stuck in our heads, looping over and over.
President Trump brings a fresh approach to government, and that is what is driving everyone crazy. Olde Europe hates it, Democrats hate it, Republicans hate it...
If any of these new approaches succeed, it spells disaster for the status quo and the (failed) traditional approach to governing, and that gores a hell of a lot of oxen.

The noxious earworm in this case is The Mueller Witch Hunt created, promoted and endlessly trumpeted round the clock every day ever since it became evident that Mr. Trump COULD win the election. This nucleus of a deadly form of CANCER only INTENSIFIED then METASTASIZED as soon as he DID win supposedly against all odds.

I was not all that enamored of Mr. Trump when he first threw his proverbual hat into the proverbial ring, but at this point I am absolutely BESOTTED by him, because his vast army of detractors are SO vicious, SO vile, SO blind to goodness, wisdom and truth,, SO wicked –– and SO incredibly STUPID –– Mr. Trump has become a great HERO simply for standing up to them with aplomb, while repelling the myriad slings and arrows that come his way every hour of every day.
The guy is a latter day COLOSSUS. I have come to see him as Our Last Best Hope –– possiby our ONLY hope..
If Mr. TRUMP fails, our NATION fails, our FREEDOM will be lost, and the United states of America, as founded, will soon be swept into the dustbin of history.
Our descendants will all be SLAVES to the monstrous Soviet-style Peoples Republik Mondial governed by ruthless, heartless, super-rich, godless, unprincipled Oligarchs.
For those reasons I will no longer tolerate anyone who says a single WORD against him.
In the words of Charlie Sheen, I must say this:"WINNING!!!" (Charlie Sheen was one of a handful of Hollywood elites who actually supported Trump.) GOD ALMIGHTY has His hand in this. He told a prophet that He is fed up with the thieves looting and plundering the USA, and it's about to end. I believe Kim Jong Un saw the writing on the wall, and the prayer warriors are about to see their prayers answered during Donald Trump's 2 terms.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say that the prophet who saw Donald Trump winning the 2016 election also saw Trump making history around the world as he negotiated with other nations. The world is about take him seriously as he stands up to the thieves plundering our treasury. In my thoughts, 1 of 2 things might happen in North Korea: If Kim Jong Un turns to Jesus Christ as his Savior, the deals he makes with The United States and Donald Trump will make North Korea prosper and perhaps cause a reuniting with South Korea. If he doesn't turn to Jesus Christ, the legions of demons will feed greed and cause trouble with the possibility of having Kim Jong Un being removed off the face of this earth.
