Until Further Notice
Too many have insisted on posting here without digesting the contents of the post. They most desperately need to take a good, stiff course in REMEDIAL READING.
We have tossed out far more remarks than we have allowed to appear, because few-if-any have the faintest idea how to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.
Either that or they so incredibly RUDE as not to care.
We don't give a tinker's dam what anyone thinks of us, personally. We DO care about maintaining the integrity of this blog while combating the shocking degree of IGNORANCE, STUPIDITY, INSOLENCE and borderline ILLITERACY of those who presume to comment here without considering our specific requirements.
It is a PRIVILEGE to post on a privately-owned blog.
It is NOT a RIGHT.

The blosophere has serious problems with civility. I've never seen it this bad!
ReplyDeleteNeither have I, AOW, and I've posting on "interactive" websites for eighteen years.
DeleteThe post immediately below is a Perfect Textbook Example that proves my case. Should any decent person allow himself to be subjected to abuse of that magnitude simply because of a difference of opinion about political philosophies and resultant government policies?
In a world full of bad news, the closure of this cesspit (even if temporary) is a modest ray of sunshine.
ReplyDeleteThanks for making the load slightly lighter!
I am permitting this pointedly vicious –– and blatantly stupid –– remark to remain, because it reveals the mentality of leftists and internationalists who advocate the dissolution of American sovereignty, and the establishment of a full-fledged One World Socialist Regime administered by the self-appointed, megalomaniacal Oligarchs who already have far too great an influence on our internal affairs, and even more on our incredibly stupid, self-defeating foreign policy.
DeleteWow! Hard to believe the mentality of some morons taking the time to wipe their asses and post their crap on blogs that they don't like and disagree with.
DeleteEven a half wit would search for another point of view with which they would agree and post on that blog, but obviously Gert doesn't have a clue or the class.
Waylon,
DeleteIt defies both description and explanation, doesn't it?
Oh no! It's an elegant example of typical LEFTIST THINKING. They seem to believe it should be Open Season on anyone whose opinions they find at odds with their own.
DeleteThat's why Leftists are invariably VINDICTIVE, VITUPERATIVE, VENOMOUS and VICIOUS –– when it comes to politics.
In other areas many of them can be perfectly DARLING individuals, as I know full well from ing personal experience outside the blogosphere where shocking redness, unfiltered hostility, and fierce naked aggression rule the day.
FT, you don't have to publish this comment if you don't want to since it's a bit off topic. But it's also a subject with which I know you are very familiar—The Frankfurt School and Cultural Marxism.
DeleteI came across a superb article that was recently published at Zero Hedge that I think is excellent. Here's an excerpt:
"Coming to America
In 1934, the school was reborn at Columbia University. Its members began to exert their ideas on American culture.
It was at Columbia University that the school honed the tool it would use to destroy Western culture: the printed word.
The school published a lot of popular material. The first of these was Critical Theory.
Critical Theory is a play on semantics. The theory was simple: criticize every pillar of Western culture—family, democracy, common law, freedom of speech, and others. The hope was that these pillars would crumble under the pressure.
Next was a book Theodor Adorno co-authored, The Authoritarian Personality. It redefined traditional American views on gender roles and sexual mores as “prejudice.” Adorno compared them to the traditions that led to the rise of fascism in Europe.
Is it just a coincidence that the go-to slur for the politically correct today is “fascist”?
The school pushed its shift away from economics and toward Freud by publishing works on psychological repression.
Their works split society into two main groups: the oppressors and the victims. They argued that history and reality were shaped by those groups who controlled traditional institutions. At the time, that was code for males of European descent.
From there, they argued that the social roles of men and women were due to gender differences defined by the “oppressors.” In other words, gender did not exist in reality but was merely a “social construct.”
My thinking is that it should get the communistic bird brains in a dither if you did an article on that type of subject. And provide for some real humor ...
Yes ,AOW, apparently an invasion of semi-human space aliens walks among us ...
