Ebola is hardy a new phenomenon. I've heard about it for years, but the latest outbreak in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and other West African nations is the most sever on record, and apparently getting worse each day.
ReplyDeleteSince 70% of those stricken DIE, the idea of the disease getting a foothold in the Western Hemisphere, this country and in Europe is a terrifying prospect.
I do think it was very foolish not to have quarantined all of West Africa, shut down access to to the West by air, sea and land, and denied entrance to anyone who MUGHT have come in contact with the disease.
I don't think it has a thing to do with the election one way or the other. Dread Disease never respects race, religion, political orientation or degree of wealth. EVERYONE is vulnerable.
