ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteAnd enjoy your time away from Blogistan.

ReplyDeleteHappy BD, FT!
Happy Birthday. Per cent'anni!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the good wishes and kind thoughts.
ReplyDeleteJust returned from a most distinguished dinner at a posh restaurant with the unlikely name of EAT HERE, if you would believe
Very good!
The hit of the show, believe it or not, was a minced Kale Salad with chopped almonds, currants, grated Parmesan cheese lightly dressed with lemon juice and the barest hint of olive oil. It was, as they say, "to die for."
I love wonderful surprises.
Celebration continues tomorrow with breakfast at an Albanian Cafe where the whole wheat crepes are outstanding, then dinner at a fabulous Peruvian Grill downtown.
Monday, it's back on the usual regime of steel filings, ground glass, white vinegar and turpentine. ];-)>
FT,
ReplyDeleteEAT HERE sound great! My kind of place!
At the Outer Banks, there was a good restaurant called EAT AND GET THE HELL OUT.
Monday, it's back on the usual regime of steel filings, ground glass, white vinegar and turpentine.
That's the blogosphere, all right.
I'm going to blog during my Easter break from classes, but I will be refusing to let this holy season be polluted by my spending a lot of time in the blogosphere.
