I see the endless streams of inanity have finally driven you 'round the bend, FT. I can't say I blame you given the nature of discourse today, but I hope your departure from rationality will be short-lived. I rather enjoy you in your more serious moments. - and I never give compliments lightly, as surely you must have noticed by now.
Blogging really is a thankless task, isn't it, FT? I always find something to like and enjoy about your daily posts. You have a kind heart and a terrific sense of humor. It shines through even when you're being deliberately provoking. Apparently that gets by an awful lot of people, though. Too bad! They don't know what they're missing.
Not that I'm trying to send the ultra-queasy to the "loo" to wrap their arms around the porcelain "water closet", sometimes you just have to buck up and face reality, IMO.
Of course, the truth ain't always pretty, but you ignore it at your peril.
Further to your earlier posts on "liberalism" I came across some interesting context regarding to Theodore Roosevelt that is pertinent to the ongoing conversation:
"After the onset of a strange illness, Vice President Garret Hobart dies of heart failure at the age of 55. Like his good friend and boss President McKinley, Hobart is a genuine constitutional conservative. His untimely death conveniently creates an opening for the Progressive-Globalist faction that has infiltrated the Republican Party.
While effectively running the US Navy, Teddy Roosevelt’s role in the false-flag destruction of the USS Maine positioned him for rapid 3-step career advancement: . Step 1: TR's military record is grossly exaggerated by the Yellow Press (the mythical charge up San Juan Hill). Step 2: The "War Hero" is then catapulted into the Governorship of New York in 1899. Step 3: When Vice President Hobart dies unexpectedly (poisoned), the Globalist-Zionist wing of the Republican Party forces “the war hero” upon a reluctant McKinley. The Globalists are now “just one heartbeat away” from getting their first puppet installed in the White House. Was Hobart poisoned to pave the way for the Globalist TR’s stunning ascendancy? Subsequent events suggest that Hobart’s oddly convenient death was part of a plan."
"Republican President McKinley is a staunch advocate of "hard money" (Gold Standard) and limited constitutional government. McKinley is re-elected in 1900. Less than one year later, a foreign born Red terrorist named Leon Czolgosz shoots McKinley in Buffalo, NY. Czolgosz is a follower of the Jewish Red Emma Goldman, who openly praises Czolgosz's evil deed! . McKinley recovers briefly, and then turns for the worse, finally dying on September 14. His death launches the Globalist puppet Teddy Roosevelt into office, completing TR's amazing ascent from obscurity to the White House in just two years! The convenient murder of McKinley marks the beginning of "The Progressive Era" in which the Federal government will expand its power and foreign involvement. Czolgosz is executed on October 29."
"Teddy Roosevelt (TR) was catapulted into office by the sudden deaths of a constitutionalist US Vice President (Hobart), and then a constitutionalist US President (McKinley). TR’s time in office is marked by a radical shift in American style of limited government and non-interventionist foreign policy ..."
I'd hardly characterize Waylon's report as a "rant," Canardo. Rather it brings to light a fascinating -- certainly eerie -- set of tragic coincidences that appear to lend considerable credence to a conspiracy theory.
It's hopelessly naive to assume that "conspiracies" do not exist.
What was our own Revolution after all, but a group of ill-assorted private citizens taking it upon themselves in an organized fashion to Britain's hold on a thriving territory built and developed by brave, adventurous souls who dared to grasp Opportunity with both hands, and make the most of it?
The very idea that similar occurrences might not be at work to take away from us all our ancestors gained is hopelessly naive.
Toning it down for Ducky's tender ears and hypersensitivity...
"Czar Nicholas II had hoped to be exiled to Great Britain while Kerensky was in power, but his British "ally" refused to take him in! The Bolsheviks (Communists) now hold Nicholas, his wife Alexandra, his four daughters, and young son under house arrest. Their Red captors force them to live on rations. .As a boy, Nicholas had witnessed the bombing murder of his grandfather, Alexander II, in 1881. Nicholas's timidity was demonstrated when he failed to execute Red leaders such as Lenin and Trotsky after the failed 1905 revolution. Now, his misguided mercy will come back to haunt him, and his beautiful family.
On the evening of July 16/17, 1918, the royal Romanov Family is awakened at 2AM, told to dress, and then herded into the cellar of the house in which they are being held. Moments later, Jewish Red killers storm in and gun down the entire family, their doctor, and three servants in cold blood. Some of the Romanov daughters are stabbed and clubbed to death when initial gunfire fails to kill them. . News of the brutal murder of the Romanovs sends shock waves throughout Russia, and all of Christian Europe."
"These post-modern types don't even know that Czar Nicholas and Alexandra and their children were brutally murdered in a basement room -- shot at close range. The girls were bayonetted and slashed to bits after bullets failed to kill them, because their mother had sewn the family jewels into their bodices while awaiting their dreadful fate. Their remains were carted off to a distant, undisclosed location, then dumped into a cistern.
"I am genuinely shocked to have learned just yesterday that even after learning this, at least "some" of today's young leftists "still" want to think the Czar got what he deserved. They remain silent on the subject of the Czarina and her children.
This is what happens when we abandon Jesus Christ altogether."
About toilet seats....Amber is obsessed with the commode! I've never before had a cat who climbed down into the bowl, but she does. We have to keep the toilet seat and the lid in the down position when we're not using the throne.

Waylon's rants remind me of Ondine in Andy Warhol's, "Chelsea Girls".

ReplyDeleteEDIT:
ReplyDeleteKinda funny how you got all of that over "lift up the toilet seat" Waylon.
Was this an experiment, FT
I'd hardly characterize Waylon's report as a "rant," Canardo. Rather it brings to light a fascinating -- certainly eerie -- set of tragic coincidences that appear to lend considerable credence to a conspiracy theory.

Jack, it not an "experiment," so much as an expedient.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not I'm much more interested in what others have to say than I am in bloviating in splendid isolation.
I mean masturbation is fun, but sexual intercourse is usually a whole lot better -- or don't you agree? ;-)
When it comes to "Ondine," Ducky, Ravel's hauntingly brilliant evocation is the only one that could ever seriously interest me.
ReplyDeleteBy the way ALL the items here could well be regarded as a series of experiments.

Odd, Waylon!
ReplyDeleteI posted THIS at Western Hero earlier today:

Czar Nicholas II may well have been unsuited to rule. The man had an uncanny "talent" for failing to recognize reality.
ReplyDeleteThe slaughter and disposal of the Romanovs were hideous. How could anybody be proud of what happened?

ReplyDeleteFT, I hate to be redundant. I have to admit that I didn't see your post.
ReplyDeleteJust a case of great minds thinking alike, I guess.
